Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesWe had to book a night in Oslob to catch the ferry to Panglao. Surprisingly out of all the hotels we stayed in southern part of Cebu this was the best. Room was very very clean and larger than expected. It was located walking distance from ferry terminal. The staff was also very kind and helpful.

IcelandBad acoustics. We woke up to the roosters accross the street multiple times during the night. We had the bedroom toward the lobby. Additional we could here everything going on in the lobby.

TaiwanThe crowing of roosters is very unpredictable. Sometimes started at midnight, but it is pretty common in Oslob.
Jun was super responsive—any time I had a question, he replied quickly and helped out right away. He took care of everything for us, from airport pick-up to arranging the whale shark watching and Tumalog Falls, and even the ferry tickets to Bohol. The room was spacious and comfy, with a little living area and great air conditioning. It’s located down a side street, so you don’t get much traffic noise—though you might still hear roosters crowing, which is pretty common around here. Jun is incredibly friendly and helpful. If you run into any issues during your stay in Oslob, just message him—chances are he’ll show up in person to help you out. Total lifesaver!👍

CanadaRoosters making noise nearby at all time of the day. But this is not the fault of Jun’s Inn.
A very welcoming place to stay in Oslob. Comfortable room. Very clean. Very spacious. Great beds. Air conditioner. Hot shower. Good water pressure. Excellent location - very close to the main part of town. Very nice staff - Alma was very helpful and always smiling. Jun helped us plan whale shark tour. Driver Alex was helpful. Overall great value for money.

United KingdomSome ants were found on the bed, which i guess is unavoidable in the area. Everything in the room is clean and well-maintained though. There are no toiletries (except a small bar of soap), but it’s easy to buy small packets in 7-11 anyways. Dental kit is available indeed.
Nice location with few mins walk to 7-11, restaurants and bus stop. Spacious room. Very nice staff and the owner of the property took us to whale shark and waterfall tour (at additional cost). We bumped into him on the street on the last day after we checked out, he even caught the bus for us. There is no laundry service in the property, but the cleaning lady did the washing for us (again at additional cost)

United KingdomThere is some noice from local dogs and roosters, but this only added to the village vibe so we didn’t mind.
Lovely location in Oslob just a short walk down to the water, the beautiful church and old ruins and around 20 mins to the whale sharks. Very spacious clean room with a little sofa so very comfortable. It’s only a quiet small village but has a really lovely vibe, not touristy but a few places to eat. We was only here a couple of days so perfect base to swim with the whale sharks and see the monkeys at the sanctuary up the road.

AustraliaJun was an outstanding host. The room was immaculate and clean and the staff were so friendly and kept the common areas just as clean throughout our stay. Jun personally organised our tours during our stay and also our ferry transfers to Bohol. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Jun.

VietnamThis was no fault of the Inn but there were roosters next door that started crowing at 2:30 AM and continued until the morning. We were able to go in and out of sleep but it was definitely distracting to our sleep.

AustraliaThere was really nothing we didn't like apart from the bloody roosters, which you can't avoid in the Philippines anyway!
The owner was so accommodating. There were 6 of us and he himself drove us to Tan-awan, the whaleshark area, for a reasonable fee. We also went to Sumilon Island that day. He took us to the port and picked us up from there. The room was very spacious, the aircon was good and location is very central with walking distance to the town center and a good cafe (ie Whaleshack)! Internet was good and there was hot water! We will definitely come back!

United StatesJust the ac filter was not cleaned, the bathroom was a bit too small and the drain was not draining well, so it would have a puddle while you are showering.
The location was near grocery, marketplace and restaurant. Also near a historical area with good oceanview. About a 20min drive to Oslob and 2hrs to Badian, otherwise it was good because there were not a lot of tourist in the area. Quiet location.

United StatesRooster noise, constant dog barking meant I had to run the AC constantly to drown out the noise. Local beaches are garbage. I had to have a local guide take me to the good beach - great local guide is Ailyn (pronounced Eileen in English) - find her on facebook - https://www.facebook.com/abyyyloveeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Hot shower. Good location. Staff were good, but a tad bit unflexible. No way to immediately contact them during certain times.
