This is a small bed and breakfast that is very private with just a small number of rooms/guests that allows for a personal experience. The rooms are spacious and well maintained and have ocean views. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and primarily serves the guests - at least while we were there. The Italian food is well done with nice wine list and unusually good pizza for the area. The team/hosts cater to your needs and makes the stay a very personal experience. Breakfast is prepared to accommodate your timing.

A minor issue was the dog noise in the morning but staff tried to resolve it. Also, the unpaved road leading to the hotel was a bit of a problem, as some of rideshare services were hesitant to drive all the way there or upcharge us.

L'osteria delivered an exceptional experience that I'd highly recommend. Mornings began on the perfect note with a spectacular breakfast, featuring what I can only describe as the best cappuccino and croissant with the best freshly sliced Philippine mango! The breathtaking views and convenient access to the nearby beach were simply unbeatable. The staff was wonderful, always greeting us with warmth and genuine smiles. For dinner, the on-site Italian restaurant was a major draw. Having lived in Italy, I can attest that their food is completely legitimate and delicious.

Our stay at L'Osteria was excellent. The concierge, both Mabel and Veronica , were very attentive to details and knew what my family wanted. The rooms were decorated with elegance and comfort in mind. I didn't want to leave our rooms. The views were breathtaking!!! It's very close to everything---

Gorgeous small property. We stayed in one of the villas with a private pool and had a perfect stay. The room was clean and luxurious, and staff were really helpful and kind, especially when we had an early morning flight arrival. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The outdoor shower and light in the pool were also nice touches that made it easier to use the space. Would 100% return!

It’s an absolute pleasure to have stayed at L’Osteria. The location is sublime, right on the beach and next to Tuasans surf break. And the accomodation is perfect, waking up to the site of crashing waves & breakfast was amazijg every morning. The best part was definitely there staff, from the beginning we felt welcome and looked after for the duration of our stay. We were lucky enough to have an upgrade too on our last night to the pool villa and it was unbelievable to say the least! I will be coming back to Siargao, and certainly staying here again to experience the friendly hospitality.

I loved the location and the staff are bloody incredible - everything was organised for us. The rooms is amazing, we got the one with the pool! The view is just breathtaking and the location between cloud 9 and general Luna is amazing.

Internet was hopeless (in reality this didn’t bother me) if it’s important to you it’s a consideration. Steak was misrepresented. Was quoted an extra $276 aud per night to have a villa with a bath!! Must be a VERY special bath!

Quiet! You would never know you’re in the middle of town. I would gladly stay here again.

Property is well maintained. Beautiful views from the room. Restaurant was 10 meters from our front door. Very quiet place. Here the ocean wavs allday tempting you to either surf or sleep. Great romantic getaway. Just to reset and recharge yourself. No TV. But wifi is available. We will be back.

The whole place is like a fairy tale, the pictures doesn’t give justice. The neigbouring streets might seem rough at the first sight, but we haven’t experienced anything but kindness from the locals throughout our week in Siargao. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, there was nothing they couldn’t help us with. Some critiqued the breakfast options but 1) we could eat that forever 2) they have always asked us if we’d have any special request for eg like a Filippino breakfast etc. It’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer than a week.

They can’t do much about it , but the access road is literally awful , specially after a lot of rain. You must have a scooter or a tuktuk driver that wants to get in there , cause it’s almost impossible to walk. I guess we could consider the menu a bit pricy for the island , but we’ve been around trying to eat European food in Siargao ( tired of philippino food ) and L’Osteria cooks the best one. I would maybe add a couch or two, create a waiting area for people that must check out and have their flight later on .

The breakfast view every morning and the calm out of the place since they only have 4 rooms , it feels very private. The girls were all lovely. The Italian food that they make with a Philippino crew ,is remarcable.

As like the other reviews and most of Siargao, getting to the place was very bumpy, muddy and dark (reason we kept taking the tuktuk) wasn’t too much of a bother for us though. The junior suite does not have a balcony or patio.. which was a little disappointing as the description did say there was one, therefore we weren’t able to just sit outdoors. There is a common area where you can eat and get beverages from which was a bit odd for the price you are paying, had to get our own waters… The view was ok, no fault of the place but they should mention that the “beach front” isn’t really what you’d expect. It’s all big rocks and not a swimmable beach. But it is a nice walk :)

We stayed at the Junior Suite for 2 nights. The place itself is beautiful! The room was great size for me and my sister. Bed and pillows were comfortable for a good night me sleep. Clean place and room as well. Staff were amazing! The staff are also very accommodating, anytime we needed a Tuktuk they would call one for us, they would ask if we wanted anything special for breakfast as we were always leaving at 7am and breakfast did not start till 7:30, they’d pack 2 freshly baked croissants for us (really appreciated this).

The location is a bit tucked away, which adds to its charm, but be aware that the road leading to the property is uneven, so drive carefully. Additionally, during the rainy season, the area can experience slight flooding, so it’s a good idea to wear sturdy shoes and be prepared for wet conditions.

The staff was incredibly friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable, and the food was absolutely amazing—every dish was perfectly prepared and delicious! Also, you can rent a scooter at their location which is very convenient. They will also help with shuttle services to and from the airport.

The shared “road” to the property is uneven and floods very easily in rainy season. We ended up ankle deep in water most nights when leaving or coming back to the property however I assume this isn’t up to the property. Everything else to do with the property is amazing but just a warning - don’t take nice shoes and prepare for wet feet!

The room was incredibly spacious and clean with an amazing view. The staff were incredibly kind and couldn’t do enough for you. Major bonus points for the incredible restaurant on site - the breakfast is good and every evening meal we had there was great. The pizza and calzone are to die for!!

- the airco blew its cold air right over the bed, resulting in stiff backs the next morning. No way to point it in a different direction, reduce the fan to (close to) none. - 2 app's had their own pool, ours did not. Would not have been an issue if the premises would have a comfortable chair/setup next to/on the beach. Note that the rocks right next to the beach keep you from entering the sea...

The location was amazing with the view but also plenty of privacy to spend time as a couple. The room and bathroom were very comfortable, you could notice the attention to detail. The staff was amazing and our room and pool were always looked after perfectly. The food and wine there are exceptional, we stayed in a lot because it was hard to find anything comparable. All in all a perfect stay for the two of us with plenty of time to relax. The internet was also surprisingly fast there.
