I like how the staffs are very accommodating such as being open to making conversations, asking for what we need and we are very much good to use the kitchen. The surroundings is very peaceful and close to the center of the spots.

One of the staff told that the one of the kubo is standing for about 10 years, It is obviously not in a good shape since it not sturdy when you go upstairs but it is understandable. Moreover, I like the accommodation since it not that much hot even the fans are off.

I liked the location- it was tucked away while being in the centre of everything. The staff were really nice!

The holes on the floors meant my stuff kept getting stuck under the property.

I loved it being located within jungle. I stayed in a hut which felt special. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

The only thing is to be wary of the noise of wildlife starting at 5am until 8am ish. So very beware if you’re a light sleeper.

Really nice calm place. Location is great, up the hill but only 3 min from all main places. There's a lobby where everyone can hang, and only 1 dorm room, so easy to get to know people. Really nice atmosphere, got to give it a chance. Toilet & shower is on the outside but super clean always, and 2 of each, with good quality toilet paper provided.

No a/c but it was ok with lots of fans. No towel is provided.

Nice and quiet place. Not far from the main road with all the restaurants. Amazing breakfast! The host is super nice and ready to help with everything <3

Nice bamboo huts in a lush green garden. A bit off the main road and therefore quieter.

Bamboo huts naturally don’t provide any sound proofing. You can hear everything from outside or the neighbors, and I assume it’s the same for them. Just something to be aware of. You kind of need a scooter to get around compfortably, they conveniently rent scooters there.

Loved my stay here, within the trees and super friendly staff. Other backpackers also more laid back. Still at walkable distance to beach or close drive to waterfalls and other activities.

We had a really great time here. The hostel itself is clean, immersed in lush greenery but very close to the beach. The common area is also great, and the facilities are good. There's free water and coffee and plenty of space to relax and socialise with other travellers. The hostel is also situated in a very convenient area to explore all Siquijor has to offer. The family who own the place were extremely kind, helpful and accommodating and made us feel at home. The dorms are very basic (no curtains or much space to store things) but clean. Overall really good value for money.

I liked my cosy hut on stilts and the seating area underneath. The bed linen and towels smelt clean and fresh. The room had a small bedside lamp which made it feel cosy and atmospheric at night. I received a very warm welcome from the lady at reception who continued to be lovely and friendly throughout my stay. The other staff members were nice too. It was good to have use of the kitchen as well as free drinking water to refill my bottle.

If you are prepared to be quite tolerant of local neighbourhood noise, such as music, motorbikes and construction, you will be fine as the huts are right next to the road. Fortunately it is not too busy and nighttime is quiet. One of the shower heads needs de-scaling or replacing as barely any water comes out. But you can use the bucket instead!
