The water pressure was not good. I can barely use the shower.Smoke can be smelled sometimes coming from the back.

The bed was huge and comfortable. AC was working well. Check in and check out was fast. People were nice. Competitive price. Great location.

Cleaning was not so great, and a little bit noisy. But that is nothing that impacted how I look at this place.

It is in a perfect spot, with everything you could need in a 200m distance. It is very affordable and great value for your money. The best part about staying here was Lisa and her son. I really felt like I was a part of their family and i got a lot of respect for them and how they treat their guests. Will definitely come back some day!

NOISE ... if you are a light sleeper, I absolutely do not recommend this spot. Of course it depends on who is also staying and the people in the neighborhood but it feels like the noise is right in your ear. We had one very rude person check-in on our last night who chose to sit in the lobby (aka, right outside our room door) and take his work meeting on UX/UI designs there. At 11:30 PM .. with a very, deep booming voice (European accent maybe Italian or Spanish).. this went on until at least 12:20AM. I asked for him to keep it down around 12AM, to which he left the lobby to the main entrance .. but the problem is the main entrance is right outside of our window. One of the biggest reasons I chose this stay was all of the reviews on kind and helpful Lisa. However, Lisa , nor kind and helpful, was found during my 4 night stay (added one more night before arriving). Noone in the lobby, except her maybe-teen son(?) and somebody else who simply gave us the room keys when checking in while looking at her cellphone.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION If you want to be by the water, it's definitely a good spot. Wake up at 8, grab a coffee at Veranda, get in the water for a quick swim, and walk back to wash up by 10 or 11.

Room is super basic, and bathroom is so small it’s always a heavy air in both… Hostel clearly cater for Israelis, and they stick together very tight so if you are not one of them you are met with awkward looks in the dining area… Very laud late into night

Guesthouse has the perfect location - very close to snorkelling spots, bars/restaurants. There is also a paid spacious parking around the corner. Lisa was extremely nice and helpful, it's always great to feel that you are really welcomed and that the owner makes their business with soul!

It is noisy outside. But thats`s the price of great location!)

We had a great stay at Lisa’s guesthouse. Our room was clean, with its own aircon and shower. The location is just perfect, sea is very close as well as sardines and turtles points. Lisa is a very kind and responsible person, always ready to help you with any issue, suggest sightseeings, restaurants and other places to visit. I will highly recommend this place to stay if you are looking for a good hostel at a reasonable price. Thanks to Lisa for support and hospitality!

The internet in room 5 was pretty average. We would really appreciate any agreement of the hotel management with the other owner for a parking. There seems to be some spaces around, however there is no one to confirm our bike won’t be moved or disturbing others. I also want to mention a small enterprise in a next tiny building - they switch on loud music in the evening (9-12 pm). But I just asked them to make it more quiet, and they apologized and lowered the sound.

We really liked this hotel! It’s very clean, located really nicely - you’re in the middle of everything! the cool restaurants are just 2 steps from the door, and the beach is really close! of course, consider this if you want a long and not disturbed sleep - there is life around ;) I’m really impressed how comfortable the bed is, how many shelves and hooks for the clothes are in a very compact room! The water is truly hot, and the aircon works fine. Also there is a cool balcony on 3rd floor, if you’re lucky enough to take room 6 or 7.

The room and especially the shower and toilet is very small.

Perfect location in the most lively and center area of moalboal. Lisa the host is an inspiring, friendly and very helpful and supportive host ! The room is clean and the place has a very unique and social atmosphere! Many Israeli’s come here and feel at home with the Hebrew quotes on the walls and much Hebrew in the background. Lisa has a special connection with the Israeli and Jewish community and will share her story. She also makes a lovely Shabbat dinner for all the guests and outside visitors .

There was a bra pad on top of the bed, unsure the staff really did the proper cleaning. Stairs are too steep. Water that's coming out from the sink faucet is like a shower, the water flow out from the sink.

We were moved to another guesthouse!! When we arrived to the hotel, the owner of Alona Guesthouse said that there was an issue with the room so we got moved to "her cousins hotel". The guesthouse was not what we booked. The bathroom was not the same, room not the same. Communication with the hotel - non existant. We had an issue one night when there was no water and we could not take a shower, we reached out to the booking owner, no one even bothered to respond. Towels in the room - super low quality. No one bothered to clean the room or at least change the towels. No one was at the "reception" of the guesthouse almost ever so we could not even ask for tissues..The room was also super small - for two people it was impossible to move around comfortably. Disappointing stay.

Location is not far from the beach, however, the beach itself is rocky.

We liked everything

First of all Lisa- the owner of the hostel is amazing. She really care about all her guests and you feel at home with her in her place. Second, is actually the place; the rooms are really big and nice for group of friends, couples, and for who travel alnone. I really cant think about better exprience in Moal Boal. This is for sure the best place in the erea.
