Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PhilippinesWhere the bidet is located. It’s so hard to use when it’s improperly stationed even for right-handed like me.

Saudi ArabiaThe front man of the building don't give much regard to a customer. Doesn't help arriving "check-inners" for their luggages though the bellman's cart is standing-by. The room is pleasing however, the smell is not. Rain water leaks out from the AC's wall, flows to its power outlet posing danger and drips all through the floor. We were transferred to another room and yes it's better, however, there's a water dropping from the ceiling straight to the bed's headboard. The price we paid is more than what booking.com says. The front desk explains that we have to pay extra charges for the app's percentage share or fees. Better not use booking.com in this sense for Hotel Lorenza.
The lobby is fantastic, the dinning Hall is wonderfull and the staffs are so welcoming.

PhilippinesThe room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Hotel Lorenza is conveniently located near city's attractions, hospital and shops, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy everything it has to offer. Overall, my experience at Hotel Lorenza exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, affordable and comfortable stay in Tacloban. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay unforgettable! I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Tacloban.

Saudi ArabiaI have numerous feedbacks regarding this hotel which i hope they can use to improve their services and facilities. 1. Internet is very slow and sometimes not available 2. Dirty and old looking towels , dirty and stained fabric chair which i didnt use at all 3. Weird smell in bathroom 4. Aircon is old style and gives off bad smell 5. Noisy , i heard some people doing karaoke at 11 pm for christ's sake.. if they sounded like Abeer Nehme would have forgiven them. 6. Reason i chose this hotel coz i saw in their amenities it had a SPA . Unfortunately i was told it was not available for a long time now.. they should remove this coz this is false advertisement. I should have chosen another hotel. But unfortunately you cant once you book..you cant cancel it otherwise youlll be partially charged/refunded. Will i be back in this hotel? No. But then again, this is solely based on my experience . Please give the hotel a chance. Thank you.
Hotel Lorenza is a 2-star hotel and what i liked about it during my stay are as follows: 1. Economical 2. Location near most establishments 3. Parking space available 4. Restaurant in first floor of hotel so you can order anytime. 5. Staff were accomodating and friendly

PhilippinesOn my last visit there the bidet hose popped open in the bathroom and started spraying water everywhere. I turn the water off at the toilet valve and then went down and told the front desk clerk what happen. I showed her a picture of the broken hose that I took with my phone. She said she would call the plumber. This happened on a Sunday morning. I left early Monday morning and it had not been repaired. I used the shower wand to fill up the tank on the toilet when needed so I managed.
I always stay at the Lorenza when in Tacloban, if they have a room available. The breakfast there is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is always helpful, courteous and very kind. I really like staying there - it feels comfy and secure.

CanadaOnly i like their goods photos but physical low expectations
The breakfast served is pricey, compared to other nearby hotels, which offer better accommodation. They need to value and upscale the food served to the customers, especially since the Philippines is known for its delicious foods. Hahaha Again, the food is low quality. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi connectivity are poor.

QatarI have alot of points why I say I dont recommend this property to save you some pesos. 1st. The room stinks! I have been in other hotels in Tacloban and most of those properties they have toilet smell problem, but this one is terrible. It goes all over the room. It’s not just sewage smell but something really really strong ceptic tank smell. I could not sleep at all and made me feel ill. You cannot even stay in the toilet for more than 1 minute as smells hit directly to your lungs. When I checked in the foul smell welcomes me, i thought of turning on the AC will help but no, Nothing of help. I did not bother asking for transfering me because I know it will gonna be the same as i was reading all the reviews (which i should have checked it first before booking) and I will be checking out early on the next day. 2nd. The property is not well maintained. I understand this hotel is 2 star I am not expecting a very high quality facilities and amenities but just the cleanliness. The shower filter is just really really dirty and they have open ceiling where you can see probably the water heating system. They have small Flat screen television inside the room and the speaker was terrible, you cant hear the sound properly adding to the sound of the aircondition my god the room was so noisy. No sleepers! And hair blower you have to request it. 3rd. they don’t actually have a spa on site. They will contact someone from outside. It’s one of the reason why I have booked this Hotel as it mentioned it’s one of their facilities which is a lie. Same goes with shuttle pick up, they dont have any, they will contact taxi from outside. 4th. The two ladies were friendly in the reception, the night shift guy was awful, i think i disturb his sleep as i was checking out really early. I belled 3 times. Forgot and Did not call my airport taxi request supposed to be at 4AM and was late 20 minutes which i have reconfirmed it twice in the morning. No sandwhich prepared.
The room was spacious. Few staffs were friendly. The food was good and the fb staff was friendly as well.
