United States2 Reviews3 helpful votes“Front office staff needs better communication with customer”I booked 2 rooms, 1 pool/garden view and 1 seaview. I was told by Melanie that they will be on the same floor. I arrive 2 hours early upon normal check in hours. Melanie helped me during check in and informed me if our rooms will be ready then. I do not have a local number but told her that I will be in the lobby area which is visible for her to see if I am there or not. She did tell us we can use the facilities but since our luggage is still in our car, we didn't have our swimsuit. We decided to check out Spice Market and had halo halo.. After, we strolled along the beach and we came back 30 minutes to the lobby. 10 minutes before 2pm, I approached Melanie and she said it is not ready. A few families areived to check in and I figured that it's past 2pm, maybe my room will be ready and so I lined up. I stood on the line for 10 minutes, saw Melanie went to the back office and never returned. I approached a gentleman, sorry didn't get his name but he is the person that handled me on my checking out, and asked if my room is ready. He said we are still not ready. I'm like why? He said they housekeeping is running late..Ok. Understood. But why didn't Melanie told me that 10 minutes before 2pm when I approached her. This is what made me disappointed, or unhappy about this check in process. If she just told me.about it earlier I would have been more patient. But no, she didn't. I wasnt expecting this type of service considering this is a 5 star hotel. We end up having 1 of the rooms on the 3rd floor which is supposed to be for my parents' but since both are not up to speed on their mobility, I gave the seaview room to my cousin. Please make sure this does not happen to anyone. The front staff need sto have better communication with theri customers especially if they are waiting in the lobby.
The rooms are very clean, comfy, spacious and definitely a place to relax.

Not eaten, benefit was I lost weight as was unable to eat and no options nearby. Very isolated result not even a shop on the resort. Basic cooking skills very absent.
Staff cannot be faulted excellent and friendly throughout resort, initial welcome was a bit cold.
