Nothing, jack is perfect

The hostel is very clean, has good functioning facilities and in a pretty good location too. The stand out thing is the hospitality with Momo and Jack! They are very friendly and welcoming, always taking care of the guests needs and always there for a talk! I had the best time there and I know I'll come back!

Nothing. Everything was, frankly, perfect.

Three words. AMAZING. IMMACULATE. VIBES !!! This is by far the best hostel I’ve been to since I started solo traveling. From the moment I entered the place, Momo made me feel like I was part of her family. We bonded so so well during those 4 days, she would do everything she can to make your stay the most comfortable possible. She’s one of the most genuine and generous person I’ve ever met, a unique human being. The warmth and the authenticity I felt in this hostel was unreal, from the staff to the other guests. We really all were getting along really well. This is the place to be in Moalboal, 100% !! You don’t wanna be at any other place but at Momo’s. I hope I can come back in the future !! ;) PS : Jack is the nicest dog ever !!

The only negative would be the location as it’s a bit far from the town centre but all the positives made up for that!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Momo’s, the host was very accommodating and friendly. The dorm room was comfortable and the aircon worked very well. We particularly liked the attention to detail with the free towel, free use of a snorkel and the fact the female and male toilets were separated. Thanks Momo :)

The whole atmosphere of the hostel was great a very warm and welcoming feel with everyone socialising in the hostel and it’s a no brainer to stay here when coming to moalboal, the facilities were great with Momo the owner being a great host and not to forget jack jack or touka the two dogs, also momo was very helpful with any service you needed such as day trips that she would organise for you, tuk tuks and also scooter rental and restaurant recommendations. I’m not one to normally leave reviews on a place I’ve stayed but this place most definitely deserves it, thankyou for the accommodation Momo :)

It's quite far from the main road so I'd recommend having a motorbike (you can ask Momo to rent one). The dorm rooms are relatively small and if the room is full, there isn't quite enough space for everyone's stuff.

Cute small hostel, with two dorms of 8 beds each. There are 4 toilets and 4 showers, all very clean. Beds were comfortable and rooms had good working AC. Momo can help arrange tours including canyonerring and sardine run - very helpful! The dogs and cats are also super cute and friendly!

The homestay was clean and everyone was very welcoming and nice. The beds were comfortable and due to the curtains privacy was given. Unfortunately sometimes I could only have a hot shower once, which was only a problem since it was cold and rainy while I was there. The bar area is good for socialising and the Internet was good as well. The hostel is located a little bit away from the main road which makes it a good walk getting into the city, but with a scooter it wasn't a problem at all.

Good facilities, comfy beds and good location, about a 10 min walk to the main road (be mindful at night, take a torch/phone). Nice and helpful staff both via message and at the property. We had a great stay. Cold drinking water on site which is so SO good. Many thanks Team MOMO

Amazing stay! Was very quickly welcomed by Momo as I arrived. It was around dinner time and she offered to take me to town since she was heading there which was so nice! Not only was she a great host, the property is also nice. I liked the location. It was a quiet area but not too far of a walk to the main street. Beds were private and comfortable. Bathrooms appeared clean. The outdoor seating area was nice with some adorable animals on the property. Was easy to book the canyoneering tour with Momo (highly recommend) I would definitely stay here again!!

Momo is the best host who would try to know each of her guests, always up for a chat and actively encourages people to hang out together. Accommodation It is very clean and looked after. Property is away from the main strip which means you have to walk for a bit to get to the restaurants, etc but it’s pretty quiet at night. Would definitely stay there again if go I back to Moalboal.

Everything perfect

I absolutely loved staying at that hostel, it felt a little like home. Momo is the most amazing owner I’ve ever met. She’s always so close to the guests and really welcoming. The hostel was always clean, what I loved. The outside area was amazing as well + you have cold drinking water what you rarely find in the Philippines. Momo has some pets, I absolutely loved her dogs! On my last day I had to leave at 3 a.m., Momo was so nice and organized a tuktuk for me :) I would definitely stay again here

Very nice and clean place, bar area where people can hang out together, bathroom and shower are clean and tidy, bed is pretty comfy. MOMO is really hospitable and friendly, helped me to book all tours and tuktuk when I needed to go to bus station. A lot of young travelers. Only 3 min walk to the seashore where you can snorkel and see turtles. 15 min walk to bars area

Clean and cosy hostel close to a snorkeling area. A little far from the centre of Moalboal and requires a torch to travel some of the road if walking at night. The bed itself is great but the floor space was taken up by bags which was fine if not a little cramped.

Great Hostel vibes with a super friendly and helpful owner, Momo. She helped us organise a cheap bike rental, canyoneering experience and told us the correct price for taxis. The communal area is great to hang out in with beers and drinks provided at a cheap price alongside board games and darts. The hostel beds are very private with three walls per bed and a curtain. The bathroom was very clean, would highly recommend.

Such a friendly environment, the manager was so friendly and helpful, one of my favourite places I’ve been in- hostel isn’t on the main strip but honestly we preferred that as here it really doesn’t need to be and the walk was very short to get there.
