Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Philippines>We saw a snake while walking out of the breakfast restaurant. I understand since the place is lush with trees and greeneries. >A lounging bed in the balcony would have been a good place to relax. But it is a bit small and its not well covered so when it was raining it is always got wet. Even the clothes we hand there never got dried coz it was always raining almost every-night.
>Steve from the reception was so welcoming. Due to low occupancy , his team upgraded us in a higher category. Together with his Supervisor Ish, who was there the whole time when the doctor has to see my husband when he got a little bit sick during our first night in the hotel. Ish has always been very kind to check on my husbands welfare whenever he gets the opportunity, Making us well reassured that we are safe and sound. >Richard from Sol Marina was observed to be such a good team player, despite the challenging weather of moderate to heavy rain that comes on and off, it never stopped him and his team to served us. Together with Nekkie and Aaliyah they never got tired to making sure we are always welcome in Sol Marina, the bar area by the beach. There was a time that Nekkie even called us while we were in the beach swimming that the lunch we ordered was ready, and Aaliyah always pay attention to our beverages making sure she remembers our preferred cocktails. >Marishel , the restaurant manager was always visible every time we are having breakfast . She never failed to check on the guests comfort and feedback with the food and beverages served in the restaurant. She's is always very proactive which radiates to her team. KC who is observed to be well groomed and looking very neat and impeccable. And Juvelie who has shown a very sunny spirit with her radiant smile. She exceeded our expectations when she made a way to serve us dried fish (a common filipino sides for breakfast) which I was craving for. Truly a dedicated team making sure to go beyond their limits just to keep their guests well taken cared of. >And the coffee served in the Cafe was perfectly done, it was the best coffee we had in this whole holiday in the Philippines. > Before we checked out , me and my husband agreed that the number one reason why we will come back in this facility would be because of the people who treated us very well and made our stay a remarkable one.

PhilippinesIts kinda far and if you too lazy to go anywhere you will end up overpaying for the hotel food and dtinks
Its a good hotel if you just wnat to stay there and not go anywhere else. It will be a 15-20 minute ride from the main beach and it will most likely cost you around400 peso. The hotel itself is great and i think they have one of the best pools in Borakay

United KingdomThe rooms were outdated (C4202& C4203) , it did not feel like a Movenpick standard, cracks on the floor by the toilet, shower area was not very clean, the skirtings were not done properly it looked dirty. The sockets were outdated, we needed to use adapters. TV was not smart TV. The tea/coffee facilities in the room felt like we are at a B&B. No magnifying mirror for the ladies of a certain age. Your coffee shop closed at 6pm, in my opinion too early to close, not considering the fact that in this day and age there are a lot of coffee/tea lovers. The breakfast buffet was very limited, fruit selection was very minimal. Bacon every morning was not crispy, rather chewy. You were not able to sustain the Chocolate Hour. You should have notified your customers that the availability of the food served during the hour only lasts while there is stock and not for the full hour. An example is when the doughnuts only lasted for one replacement and not the whole hour.
Staff are welcoming, friendly, attentive The beach area and the swimming pool was very good The airport-hotel transfers ran like clockwork

AustraliaSeemed to have power supply issues. Generator always started soon after (which was good) but I wonder why there were so many power outages. I also think there could be more efficient processes for food service and billing. Meals in The Market seemed to take a long time to come out and billing seemed confusing at times and slow. Maybe an electronic system where people are billed (or scan their room card?) immediately after service. At the beach bar and fun pub I think an immediate payment system once ordered (like at any other bar) would be easier for staff to manage than the system used presently. Drink prices could have more reflected Philippines location (quite expensive for cocktails).
Staff very friendly. Facilities fantastic. I liked the different dining options.

SingaporeThe breakfast was average Nothing other than the beach and gym to spend time at.
The beach is nice .. but its not really private as there are so many resorts on the same shore. i took a suite room. It was really nice and well made .. They gave us a beautiful cheese board with juice for welcome .. But it's really expensive and I didn't quite feel it worthy of that price..the breakfast is average . There was a chocolate treats happy hour the evening . Facilities wise, there is not much other than the pool and gym. And the place is not easy to get to .. so unless you plan to just spend time with in , which is what we did, i don't think it's a convenient place. There is some nice show in the evening at the dinner. Their private transfer to boracay airport was wonderful. I must add. I did like the stay very much.. because I intended to just unwind and do nothing much here. But as mentioned, I have had better stays elsewhere for where its worth the money.

United KingdomHard to find fault. Maybe have more food and snacks available at your resort shop. The breakfast coffee is on the weak side (ordering one with the chocolate snacks at 3pm was ideal strength). The kid play-room is quite poor - it's not used a lot as a result.
The room was large, very nicely decorated. Plenty storage. Air con worked well and was quiet. Good shower and big bathroom area. Beach was terrific - ideal for kids to swim or to explore. Swimming pools are great and having a large kids pool is a huge win when you have non-swimmers. Breakfast was tasty and the 3pm chocolate idea was by far the kids' favourite time of the day. All in all an excellent venue for a family holiday

AustraliaThe pillows in the bedroom were not super comfy. Buffet dinner choices would have been great option. The activities through resort were overpriced and much cheaper to book locally.
Beautiful location. Great beach located off the bar area. Yummy food choices with multiple dinning options. You really don’t need to leave the resort if you didn’t want to see any more of Boracay. Great buffet breakfast. Pool area more family friendly and beach area more for couples or people searching quite area.

OmanThe saloon. The hair stylist and his assistant seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. I asked them for a haircut and they gave me a trim. I asked for it layered and he didn't separate my hair down the middle but from the side. They are not professional at all and my hair isn't balanced. Front desk weren't helpful when it came to tax payment rather than having us pay during arrival they charged us at the end for the arrival and departure. They have refused to give us our total bill so at this point I am not sure how much I have paid. I have only gotten the payment of the concierge. They don't even take the time to explain why they charged you 3 different payment knowingly it is their fault!! I would like this to reach their management for better training!!

Coming here was the best decision we had. We stayed here for 9 days. The beach was beautiful and private. Crystal clear waters and no seaweeds growing! Not crowded either and the pool was fantastic. And I appreciate all the staff in movepick, they make us feel welcome and really took good care of us! The food and drinks were okay. Lots of activities as well. And the carnival themed easter celebration we also enjoyed
