The breakfast is a bit basic. Please use plates instead of prison trays! Scooter rental really overpriced.

Good location. Good facilities. Friendly staff. Not too party but the perfect amount of social. We met some amazing people here and made great memories. The free organised hostel activities were really great!

Nice hostel, well located, close to shops and short walk to the beach, always clean and tidy, modern design, many activities as yoga every morning, movie night, beach walks. The amenities are as mentioned. Everything working properly. The staff is the best, so so friendly!

There wasn't hot water in the showers during my stay (or at least - during the times I used the showers), but I know there are problems with water availability and electricity in Port Barton in general.

I loved this place. Very clean, friendly staff, lots of activities on offer, a cosy communal area, and cute pets! The bed was comfy and there are hooks in the dorm room to hang up your towel - so many places don't have hooks!

Rooms with two many people (8 each) and they are both connected so if you are at the last one you need to cross the other one to go to the toilet.

Only 3 showers for 32 beds and not much privacy on the toilet, since it’s not completely closed and in the hallway.

Sweetest staff ever! Nice rooms, doesn’t feel like you are in a room with that many people. Really good island tour, recommendable!

i booked the hostel specifically to enjoy their morning yoga classes. both days i was there they cancelled it 3 minutes before the class was supposed to happen (i was all ready to go) due to a little bit of rain outside.

Nothing really, it’s less than 10 mins to port barton beach area, which for PB can seem a bit long (lol)

Had pretty much everything you needed for a great stay - happy hour drinks, organised activities / tours (great boat trip tour) and v comfortable beds. Only had 1 day with a cold shower which I didn’t really mind anyway. Random but their drinking water is super cold which was v appreciated

They may have recently painted the dorm rooms as there was quite an intense chemical smell in the dorm which made it difficult to sleep as the smell was so overpowering. Unsure if this was paint or cleaning products but it was very intense.

More of a quiet hostel, not too social in the evenings. Found the breakfast abit pricy. Had to pay an extra 50pesos just to have black coffee if you don’t take it with milk.

There are only two hot showers to share between a lot of people and the toilets don’t offer much privacy. The seating area in the courtyard could be comfier.

The atmosphere is brilliant and there are daily activities to get involved in. Good location and comfy beds.

I had the feeling the hostel might be trying to become a bit more “party”. Might just be my feeling but I hope they won’t because as said right now it’s a really nice vibe :)

Super nice and social hostel, without being a party hostel. The common area is really nice to hang out and meet other travelers and there is always activities planned during the week, in case you feel like joining. Overall just a great vibe. The shared bathrooms were kept really clean and the staff was super helpful and friendly. We stayed here for 4 nights in a private, can’t say anything about the dorms ;) The location is a tad bit away from the “center” but really not a problem in my opinion. Port Barton is quite small afterall :)

They ran out of towels so we couldn’t rent them which was disappointing, wifi was non existent.

The room was way too big (too many beds) which doesn’t come through on the booking. The activities, like barbecue are relatively expensive.

The energy of people staying and volunteers is super nice.

The property is pretty new and beautiful. They are still keeping up with renovations. They have activity every day to keep everyone engaged + free yoga. If they could supply towels, soups and lockers would be awesome

Liked the vibe of this hostel a lot, not a party hostel but extremely social as everyone makes use of the outdoor area. Meant you could opt in or out of evening plans and get a good nights sleep when needed. The facilities are great and it’s particularly clean. Dorms were just as nice as the private rooms.
