How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had a comfortable stay. Place is overall clean and presentable to guests. The location is very accessible. The staff are friendly, accomodating and they anticipate your needs.

Water temperature wasn't great in the shower.. water was just warm.. and no soap in the shower
Good location. 7-11 restaurants with walking distance. Uptown mall very close by can walk there in 15 mins

The TV internet connection is A bit slow but can manage.
Well maintained pool , accommodating Staff Especially Anthony and Rey. Budget friendly. Well recommend when you're staying in Manila for a few days. I will definitely recommend it to.my friend here in Kuwait who will spend time in Manila... Don't forget to look for Mr. Anthony and Mr.Rey.

Could only get shower to warm temperature.. wasnt hot at all. No soap in the soap dispenser either
Location very good.. a 7/11 and jolibee about a 7 min walk away.. can walk to uptown mall in about 15-20 mins

I booked here because it says it has a pool but when we checked in the pool was not available. Maybe they should also put in their ads that the usage of the pool is case to case basic. The pool was available the next morning, it was so dirty, the water was so cloudy and NO RUGS upon entering the dry area so all our wet clothes dripped on the floor. All sockets are flat, I didn't get the chance to charge my phone because the sockets are not universal. I tried to borrow from or ask if the staff have an adapter or an option where I can charge my phone even just for a few minutes BUT THEY ARE NOT HELPFUL. They don't want to lend me their charger. It saddened me because they are not accommodating to their guests The toilet bowl is moving, I mean it's like they just put it there, not cemented from the bottom. It's (the actual bowl) literally moving Personally speaking, it's below Mabuhay standard, many violations and does not meet my expectations.
I booked here because it's near Edsa.

The first room they gave us I think 502 had all the walls constantly wet and same was for the floor. We asked to change which we are able to do in a few minutes.
The place is clean and staff are nice and attentive to your requests. Value for money is awesome, The pool is small but if you go when there is no one else you can swim up and down other it's great to just chill relax and maybe make new friends.

We were originally assigned at rm 111 and this room is such an eyesore. No electric kettle, no toiletries, no towels, no drinking glass, and TV isn’t working. Bed seems too old too. Good thing, my request to be transferred to another room was granted.
Comfy bed, cool a/c, smart TV, and female staffs are friendly, roofdeck pool

Almost everything was working badly, like the internet, like the air conditioner, like the bathroom, the water pooled on the bathroom floor, I had to ask for everything, or I had to change the room, in addition, there was noise on the third floor until the morning, I couldn't sleep well, the staff was very nice and fast, and the location was good, unfortunately, I made a reservation for the next few days and paid for it.
