Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesHardly any convenient stores around the area
For those seeking a quiet retreat away from the tourist congestion, this apartment offers the perfect sanctuary in a remote and tranquil location. Surrounded by serenity, it provides an ideal setting for guests who prioritize privacy and relaxation. As the area has limited nearby stores, guests are advised to plan ahead and purchase supplies before check-in to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay. Despite its secluded location, the property offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from the city, making transportation more convenient. Adding to the experience, the friendly staff provide warm hospitality, and the delicious breakfast is a delightful start to the day. One of the standout features is its walkable proximity to Ilig-Ilagan Beach, a true hidden gem with fewer visitors—perfect for those looking to enjoy the beauty of Boracay in peace. This property is highly recommended for travelers seeking a serene getaway with thoughtful amenities and effortless access to a pristine beach.

Breakfast was good. The Ilig-iligan Beach was the best part for us since it’s secluded from the other tourists and it’s quiet too. It’s 3 mins walk but worth it for a good exercise.

IrelandThe only thing missing (perhaps worth considering in the coming years) is a pool. The adjacent beach was fine and Puka beach is about a 20 min walk
Very nice location with a nice garden. I really enjoyed the welcome drink and it was a really relaxing stay. I had not expected a massage to be included and it was very relaxing. I enjoyed the food. And so, a very nice stay.

AustriaPractical Value money. I spent Circa 115 Euro for 3 nights for 4 persons with free beakfast.(i have level 3 Genius in Book.com). Ms.Ricthel was very accommodating, shuttle bus is on time, Ilig-iligan beach is not touristic like any other bora beaches, therefore clean water, seashore and peaceful. Pawikan turtle nest is taken care untill they are hatch and put back to the ocean. The owner do Charité work thats the main reason why renovation is bit delay. Massage is first come first serve basis. Nothing to complain with my 115 Euro value money for 3 nights 4 adults with delicious breakfast with fresh brewed Coffee. We are allowed to bring breakfast fruits(mango, Papaya, buko) they even sliced it. The Chef cooked the Tikoy we bought outside. Thanks for your hospitality. Well recommended for tourist and locals

PhilippinesOur experience with lunch was disappointing. The service was slow (the staff didn’t even informed us how long our 5 rice meals will be served - it took 50 minutes!), and even simple dish like adobo rice were not prepared correctly (tastes like burnt sugar and not adobo at all! So we asked to cancel it). Unfortunately, our complaints were not addressed thoroughly, and the staff seemed unsure of how to respond. Lastly, they allowed us to cancel that dish and didn’t even apologized for the issue. One area for improvement is communicating wait times for food, especially for guests with appointments or schedules to keep.
Had the pleasure of staying at this serene hotel, which offered a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The ambiance and environment were incredibly relaxing, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat. The receptionist was accommodating, while the complimentary shuttle service was a thoughtful touch that saved us from exorbitant e-trike fees. The free breakfast and massage were also a nice perk.

PhilippinesThe Resort is secluded which is great but also it's downside in staying here. E-tryc is not accessible around the area and since it is secluded I don't feel safe walking around down to the main road after 5PM you have to rent the hotel van to drop you off on the main road for 100 pesos. So if you're traveling on a budget you have to strategically plan your trips. If you're looking for a karinderya you have to walk 5-10 minutes before you reach it. There is also no signal inside the hotel for Globe subscribers here and WIFI can be spotty is some hotel areas. The Hotel offers FREE transport starts at 10AM , 5PM and 10PM from D-Mall to the Hotel area. D-Mall which is in Station 2, In my opinion, is the best spot to swim since it's also close to Van pick-up area back to the hotel. Swimming in the front beach is free, however, there are no public shower areas so you have to shower in your hotel and since the hotel is 15-20 minutes away from D-Mall you have no choice but to go back to the hotel soaking wet or just simply carry a bag to put in your wet clothes and change somewhere else.
Food here is great, price is reasonable given the serving, Our room is comfy and spacious. I recommend this hotel for traveling families. All rooms here has veranda and kids are safe to play around the garden. There is a 10-minutes walk behind the resort which is Ilig-Iligan it's not the best beach around Bora but if you're looking for a nice and quiet spot Ilig-iligan is the best yet spot. I also like how spacious their bathroom and hot shower is working in our room. Puka Beach is 15-20 minutes walk here but the hotel offers to drop you off there for 200 pesos, and another 200 pesos for picking you up. To save some transport money you can buy a HOHO unlimited pass for 350 unli rides for 2 days and 450 for 3 days. You can ask the hotel to drop you off at the police station and ride hoho bus from there so you can save 100 pesos each trip.

PhilippinesLunch menus served to us were too salty. Chicken adobo overflowing with osyter sauce The burgers are too salty.
The family rooms are spacious. The bathrooms as well. Hot & cold shower. Has TV, cabinets with hangers and mini ref. The 2 family rooms we got has connecting doors. Really good for groups. The location is good for those who doesn't want crowded areas. Really 5 mins walk down the beach. Ilig iligan beach only has few people. Morning dips are recommended. Free breakfast selections are okay. You can already do a pre order. Our kids loved the pancakes.

PhilippinesThe place is far from the center and you have to pay going out if it's outside free shuttle service schedule. That's understandable as the gas is so high so you better schedule your trip outside.
The place is very quiet and there's a walking distance beach. The staff are all nice and very friendly. You'll feel at home and there's a bonus massage.
