Wish I could stay longer!

As part of my #Project82PH, I took a solo trip to Capiz and chose this hostel after reading its glowing reviews, and I’m so glad I did! It turned out to be the perfect home base: safe, cozy, and just minutes from the mall. The room was comfortable, the free breakfast was a lovely surprise, and the location couldn't have been more convenient. But what truly made the stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. They were warm, helpful, and even went the extra mile to connect me with a fantastic local tour guide, making my exploration of Capiz smooth and memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, especially for fellow solo female travelers looking for a secure, friendly, and welcoming experience!

This was a lovely place, spacious grounds and wonderful staff. The only drawback was no TV - which was well documented in the listing. but somehow I missed this. Not normally a problem, except there was somethings very specific I wanted to see on my second day there. The staff were very understanding and without my asking, arranged for me to transfer, at no cost, to their sister property (Mid_Town Hotel) which did have TV. This was affectively a free upgrade and I was so grateful. So huge kudos to the staff of a wonderful hostel - and I nearly forgot - with a great breakfast included!!!

What i didn't like is that my flight is way too early, i missed my free breakfast..haha! Not the hostel's fault obviously. But would definitely come back, have a longer stay to finally get my free breakfast :D

Cozy vibes all the way! Place is clean, room is comfortable. Bathroom has heated water. Aircon at max is super cold. All the furniture/decor items are carefully thought of and designed to maximize the limited space of a basic room. Location is convenient, near malls and pasalubong areas (I walked from Panulce before I checked in..haha!) Perfect for my short stay and stopover. Truly a home away from home. 100% will go back!

The bars in the back of the hotel were very loud especially on the weekend,the owner offered to move me to a quieter area but I liked the room.

The container was nice well equipped,staff were very nice as well and very close to the malls.

Nice garden and free breakfast is good. Friendly and helpful staff. The room is very basic but we just needed it to sleepover for early tour the next day.

Super nice hostel in the quite side of the city but walking distance (approx 3 mins) to Gaisano mall, major banks, and approx 5 mins to provincial capitol park and church

Only philipino breakfast was available. No fruit, juice, bread , jam nor butter was available for breakfast.

The room was big and clean. The place was quiet during the night.

The staff are exceptional! Very friendly, accomodating and professional. They even helped me on my request and helped me packed some dried fish and pasalubongs. Breakfast was great and the location is superb!

It rained on both nights that we were there and since the room was a container van house, dinig na dinig yung ingay ng ulan. This is not really a complain but maybe a special note lang sa future guests. ☺️

There was nothing to not like......unless I am forced to say the room was a bit small. But there are bigger rooms. I choose small room. That was a forced complaint on my part.

The accommodations are very clean and work great. Staff was excellent!

There's some small insect that bites me in the middle of the night. Not so alarming but I felt it.

Place is neat and new. AC is good and wifi too..there is a towel thats clean and new also..Staff people are friendly. The breakfast is okay I like it. The garden and location is 👍 ps. Room is nicer in actual,.looks better in real life than in the photos posted.

Olive Hostel is like a safe haven in the middle of the city. I felt right at home ❤️ Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfasts were very filling, the garden was a nice little spot to hang out in, the entire compound was well-lit at night, and all staff members were very accommodating. Will definitely come back!
