The staff was really amazing, helpful and very supportive. Always available, joyful and kind.

I really enjoyed my stay and the staff made it a relaxing experience who were kind and always smiling. I come for diving which is ideally situated next door along with laundromat. The property is situated beach front with good views and relaxed atmosphere. A bar and good food and lively activities can be found on the night. The rooms are cozy with comfy and clean dorm beds which are fully curtained for privacy. Just make sure entrance from the back at high tide. Thanks for the pleasure. :)

Please see review from 11th-15th July booking as this is the one that the bed bugs issue refers to!!!! 8-11 I actually stayed in outpost coron and it was amazing! The staff were genuine and friendly and the room was lovely and clean. The food wasn’t so good here but it didn’t matter as the atmosphere was awesome! Both male and female Jay are a credit to your business. The other staff were awesome too but these guys went the extra mile! Look after them!

The other solo travellers

I had know hot water, then when they fixed it, it still wasn’t hot. The aircon was switched on for us and they took the remote so we are unable to change the temperature! Biggest problem is the Bed Bugs….. I always check mattresses even in hotels….. the mattress colour made it difficult to see anything and I thought it was ok…. However I was wrong. I went on a tour and spoke to 5 other people on the same trip and they had all gotten bed bugs too! I was given a key to my room but a sign saying don’t lock as the locks were new!!! Literally 2 keys for a 4 person dorm. Lastly I have to say that I felt all the staff memebers were really unhappy and it felt very fake and forced when they interacted with guests! I would not return here!!! Not clean, food was mediocre at best and not enough vegan/ vegetarian options including a milk alternative!

Honestly everything. Each night was well planned and I had lots of fun! I came in the off-season so you got to know everybody! Beds are soooo comfy

Prices are of course high for the Philippines, but that's an El Nido issue, not an outpost issue.

Great stay, clean and staff are amazing! I also did the castaways to Coron and it was unbelievable

Location is a bit out of the way but easy to get tricycle

The best parties and boat tours in El Nido!! The staff and activities really bring people together for a fun stay. Would definitely recommend!

Showers were not always hot

Staff members are always there to help and they smile no matter what. It's a 45 minute walk from downtown, where the harbour and the main places are, but it's okay, otherwise you just pay a tuk tuk, they have a nice view, they offer tours and they have themed nights every evening.

Bathrooms and the shower areas weren't clean, they don't clean the inside of the rooms, not every guest has good manners to leave their shoes outside, therefore everyday it's dirty inside. Rooms smell a bit bad, food is good, but they serve small portions for what they charge.

Good location for sunset, well designed bar and common areas for appreciating the sunset, many trikes waiting outside the steps to take you into town, shower was decent

wifi did not work in the room, room was a little small for two people with luggage, steps down to beach/entrance is a bit difficult with luggage

If you are not a party person, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It wasn’t our vibe at the moment. Also, we found the common area a bit dirty, but then again it’s on the beach. But overall it’s nice.

Amazing atmosphere and beautiful view! Everything is organised, clean and with a positive vibe. Unfortunately I cant remember the receptionist names but they are lovely. They welcomed very well… they called me for my name, they gave recommendations and a beautiful smile when I walked in. I’ve been travelling all Phillipines and so far it was the best place that I stayed. I booked a night and I ended up staying there 3 nights. $50pesos tuk tuk from town… 24hrs available. I had a very yum eggs Benedict and cappuccino. They play nice tunes and games at dinner time. The place is good to meet travellers. Perfect wifi connection. Fresh towel and sheets. Air co works perfectly. I stayed during the wet season and even I wasn’t able to go the beach I had so much fun. I highly recommend if you stay there… please tell them Fern miss them.

Small, so it’s easy to meet people. Especially when you are a solo traveler

Food portion could be better for the price
