The only point to be improved maybe is the shower which barely has pressure, but this is not a problem at all.

They helped us with everything — renting the motorbike, airport transfers, quick responses, and more. The location is fantastic, very close to the port and the main street of General Luna. We had heard that in other hotels around the area, some Spanish friends experienced a lot of humidity, but that wasn’t the case at Pepayen — the air conditioning and the fan was excellent. I also want to thank Hazel and Mel, who were very friendly and helpful.

We had a very nice stay for one week. All the room appliances worked well and we even managed to cook in the kitchen. Free water, coffee and tea are provided and we liked the small table on the terrace which allowed us to eat and have coffee looking at the nature nearby. Supermarket such as Tag are nearby as well as other restaurants and eateries. The public market and harbor are also in walking distance so most of what you will need for a stay in general luna is within reach. Clean and spacious. They have a smoking area outside, enough space for kitchen and parking for motorcycle on the street. Inside was enough to accommodate even 4 people. Ate caretaker was cleaning our room every after two or three days. We felt very secured at all times especially during the night.

Great location. Close to the pier, where I wanted to be. Away from the loud bars and clubs area, so no disturbance at night. Lots of restaurants, stores, fruit stalls etc within a short walking distance. Room was spacious and clean. Sheets were clean and comfortable. Lots of hangers and a rack to hang your wet swimwear. Shower kerb and curtain were really helpful so as not to wet the entire bathroom (really a rare find in the Philippines) Free water dispenser and a communal fridge. Jhoan was really lovely. She can help arrange tours and airport transfers.

Only thing would be to have more things like toilet roll available to take in case we ran out but no staff were around.

The location was great, Mel was lovely and very attentive to anything we needed. The rooms were spacious and clean. Free refillable cold water and coffee making facilities.

This place is an absolute gem! The rooms are spotless and cleaned every two days with fresh towels, keeping everything super tidy. The organization here is top-notch—Mel arranges amazing island tours, land tours, and cave explorations, making everything seamless. One of the highlights? Loy, a surf instructor, picked me up right from the homestay, gave me an incredible two-hour surf lesson, and brought me back! The location is perfect—right in the center, so you can walk everywhere. Plus, they rent out scooters if you want to explore further. Unbeatable value for money—budget-friendly yet with 5-star service! Highly recommended!

Firstly the location is perfect. Close to everything but quiet at night. But one of the cleanest home stays /hotels I’ve ever stayed at at this price point. Spotless and as I stayed 7 days my room was cleaned 3 times in the week. Wow. But the best is the staff. Yen the owner was fabulous, I really enjoyed our evening chats and she went above and beyond for me whilst I stayed there. It felt like home. It is ran by yen and her big sisters. I will be back. Miss you all already.

We loved everything about Pepayen! The location is great, the room was big and clean. Lots of storage space and places to place the suitcase. The AC worked well and there was a powerful fan too. The best of the stay was Yen and her family. We were there over Christmas and they invited us to celebrate with them - was an unforgettable experience!!! You can also rent a scooter with the hotel directly. Highly recommend!

Clean and fresh room with good condition. Comfy beds. Good cleaning. Very friendly and nice owner and the rest of the staff. Everything so seamless, both check in and checkout. I enjoyed it a lot here, very close to everything in General luna. Can strongly recommend this place.

10/10 for me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was clean, safe, and quiet. The pillows and bed were nice and clean, sheets are always tightly wrapped. I was surprised they cleaned my room after my day tour so that was really pleasant coming home to new towels and such. 🧺✨ They also have FREE coffee and tea ☕️ 🍵 so I always make sure to have one before leaving the home stay in the mornings. The housekeeper was sooo nice as well, she made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. She also made sure we had transportation covered going to the terminal. Compared to other places I’ve stayed at, I would HIGHLY recommend this place!!! It’s a really good price compared to homestays in the area.

Amazing for budget stay. Room is very clean, all basics available. The staff are exceptional, very helpful and friendly. Booked bike, and island hop tour through them, they kept our bags prior to check in and after check out and helped us book a tuktuk for our departure.
