Lovely rooms/cottages. Very friendly staff. Nice gym, well equipped. Our family came over for a swim and the kids loved the pool. The owner made time to talk to us and referred us to their other location in Sipalay that we also visited. Next time we will stay there also! Thank you for a great time!

I love the location because of the beach. The property is nice and clean and so are the amenities. The restaurant is great because they have alot of menu options. The kitchen staff are kind and sweet.

That guests cannot have the peace of mind to keep valuables in the safe but should rather deposit them at the Front Desk and that the resort will not entertain complaints regarding theft.

Our daughter and her family were allowed to visit us and eat in the restaurant if they had wished, but weren't allowed to use the pool unless they paid 500 pesos each. That is a ridiculous amount of money to ask for use of a pool!

A little hard to find from the main road

Resort was beautifully presented, comfy beds, great location right on the ocean, excellent well-maintained facilities. We arrived sick, and housekeeping staff could not have been more supportive and accommodating of our requests. Will definitely stay again!

This place was so pretty, really loved it. The staff is super friendly and the food is really good at the restaurant. I can also recommend the diving school located at the resort, it was also great. I hope we will be staying at this place again in the future.

They are undergoing some improvements but still handled the inconveniences well! AND… after many visits I FINALLY used the spa for probably the best massage of my life!

The food is so good we almost never eat anywhere else! We love the staff! They remember us & always go the extra mile to help.

Absolutely nothing.

Pura Vida Beach Resort is located directly on a clean quiet beach. We stayed in a very nicely decorated rustic bamboo bungalow with a large well furnished front porch and it was located in a large beautifuly landscaped garden. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and there was also unlimited free water, coffee and tea in your room. Breakfast is a nice buffet with a different local touch for each day and there is good and fast Wi-Fi reception in the whole resort area. If you walk 10 minutes along the beach there is a beautiful coral garden right next to the shore so you can enjoy unlimited snorkeling without having to rent a boat every day. Yes the restaurant prices are on the higher end but the local market and quite a few restaurants along the main road are also in walking distance.

Sometimes was hard to get a drink, wait time and having to get out of pool often to get drinks, would like to see staff be more active in offering to get more drinks.

The showers were cold most days, whilst the staff were lovely their overall customer service was a little hit and miss, they struggled to meet the dietary needs of one of our group, resulting in her often being unwell

Beautiful setting, well laid out, with great facilities available. If you like diving it is a good place to start.
