You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

DenmarkWhere do I even begin? The whole room was DISGUSTING! Door to the toilet was broken and had fallen off the wall, meaning you could not close it and it was hanging inside the toilet?! The sink, bathroom floor, and toilet was dirty and had insects all over the place, that crawled on you when you went inside or sat on the toilet! One night we even came home, and had big cockroaches and ants ALL over the room!! The towels we got had dirty brown stains all over them, and then the smell! The toilet smelled so strong of sewer that I had to cover my nose and night and the room smelled foul of something rotten. The ceiling was dripping with water right beside the bed, which had the same foul smell, we then looked up to discover that the ceiling was moldy!!! Which was causing the smell and water to drip! That is dangerous to live in! Just to make it even worse if you were still thinking about booking, we got LOCKED OUT at 10:30PM because they had accidentally locked the door outside? And wasn’t anywhere near so we had to yell and knock for over 30 minutes, until another guest woke up and locked us in?! Worst place I have ever been! Pictures for proof
