The breakfast was average, though and so were the dinners - they had a wide selection of meals but many of them were pre-maid stuff (like pizzas) and we missed fresh fruit/coconut juices that we'd enjoyed in other places in the Philippines. There is no beach in the area (which is all right, we knew it in advance) but the access to the sea could have been better. There are nice corals not far away from the coast but not easy to get to it. If the pier was a bit longer, it would just be great! In general, there is nothing to do around the hotel (which was expected for the place and we didn't mind) and you must rely on trips.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and bathrooms also. We enjoyed the karaoke room and pool table. Having our trips around the island and airport transport arranged was easy with the hotel staff.

Karaoke is for some reason played so loud you can't have a conversation with someone without shouting! It's ridiculously loud. It is impossible to relax in your room whilst someone is using it

Unfortunately the resort itself is not kept very clean, food & drinks are very overpriced (plus not many western-friendly options are on the menu just FYI!) and the location is no good for swimming in the sea.

The staff made our stay extremely enjoyable - a truly lovely bunch of people who we consider friends for life following our stay! The pool is lovely and the KTV rooms are lots of fun.

Pricey drinks, bed was uncomfortable (wooden base, not a big mattress on top) charge to use pool table by the hour? Why? Ghost payment on property so you reserve then pay at property, no beach just rocks

Waiting staff were inattentive for meals. Lots of little lizards and cockroach. Beware of service charges. Any food or drink ordered, even opening drinks in the room incur a service charge. Room had dust and cobwebs on the walls. The property is also right off the highway, so lots of traffic behind the complex.

The shower was not enclosed and the shower head couldn’t remain upright, so required handheld shower, which was not what we expected for the price paid. The room was very small for a ‘deluxe’ room. The price point was very high for transport (over double the price for comparable journeys on the island) and laundry (which also resulted in damaged clothing). No sun loungers made relaxing by the pool challenging. Restaurant was very hit or miss.

Friendly staff, lovely pool and the option to have a massage by the sea was excellent.
