One night we had noisy neighbours and AC unit a bit small for the room size.

It was quiet. We loved the shared space and the outdoor shower.

The aircon was quite loud and the roosters from the next door property were very loud! Also there's only two showers for all guests and often no toilet paper or soap in the bathroom.

The staff were very helpful and friendly! Good location and comfy bed.

The recent electricity outage is not the fault of Soffta Surf Ranch. But there is definitely a need for buying a Generator as this Island is getting the electricity from Surigao. An outage means no Electric Fan, limited opportunities to charge the mobile phone, limited amount of water in the CR and Shower and no lights Mosquitoes. There were two big holes in my net.

I was not expecting some dogs inside (especially the pitbull). It's kinda scary during late night when you go out and then going back to hostel, they will bark you.

I like that it is just near tourism road. Everything you need is just outside bars and restaurants.

The power outages but i think it was an island-wide issue. The A/C was at its coldest at around 2am, during the day it didn’t really work, but the ceiling fan helped a lot

I wish they had more fans in the shared room. It gets so hot and its hard to get enough air when you are sharing 1 fan with 3 beds.

The staff are helpful. The room is big also you have enough space to put your luggage. I like that they have locker to store valuable things.

The place to be in Siargao! The staff are really friendly and it's the perfect place to meet people.

Soffta and the people who run it are a a vibe. I think it's the best place to stay for an authentic introduction to Siargao. It's certainly not your typical hostel. Instead, it feels like going back in time to stay in the kind of village Siargao must have looked like 10 years ago. You are close to nature, surrounded by good people, good energy, the best surf breaks and even though it's on the busiest stretch of Tourism Road, it's super quiet at night because it's at the endof a leafy side lane. Definitely the kind of place you might end up extending your flight for!

Best hostel in the world. If you are looking for a beautiful environment and beautiful people who make you feel at home, that is the place. I went for three days and I stayed for a month. I miss soffta family so much
