the only minor improvement would be perhaps a shared fridge for guests, to store small drinks/snacks as the bar closes quite early, but the secitiry were always happy to provide ice for dris and fresh milk for tea, even if we felt bad personally disturbing them!

Perfectly, idyllic location, complete with shared pool and full beachfront access. The staff went above & beyond to accommodate, often providing things to improve the experience without being asked (bringing breakfast to the room, setting dinner up on the beach). The views were beautiful, being able to see the ocean from our bed!! The dogs on site and cute & friendly, the reception staff made everything simple: bike rental, laundry, baggage hold - everything was no problem :)

Too close to the road, you could hear all the vehicles. Prices too high at the restaurant. Please if it's a "retreat" don't allow noisy kids. The tour offered were super inflated, you could find the same ones half the price (and more) anywhere else.

Great location if you are looking to relax. Nice beach in front of the facilities. The owners were super welcoming and nice.

The cabana shakes a bit when we move around and it wakes me up as a light sleeper.

The location is far from the town centre so you will have to have transport. But transport was easily accessible (see positive comments) and arranged by staff. There is no insulation on the walls so you can hear every motor vehicle or bike passing the road (since the property is in front of the road). You can also hear the conversations of people outside. The water pressure of the showers are very low and despite having 2 showers, you can only really use one shower well because of the lack of pressure when they are both used. The design of the bathroom had the right idea but the functionality was lacking - the plants on the side look nice but water and soap did not drain properly. This also attracted a lot of mosquitoes after showering due to being damp. The plants were dying leaving a lot of leaves on the shower floor even when cleaned daily. Also, the floor between the shower and the vanity gets really wet after a shower. They also asked us not to flush any toilet paper down the toilet and to put all used toilet paper in the bin - which is fine but they did not clean the bin every day so had tissue overflowing. Towels were stained and had holes although these were changed when we asked for them to be replaced.

The property is well maintained and near the beach. It has a rustic charm about it. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was cool enough. Lots of plugs for electronic devices and good lighting around the place. Having beach towels readily available was great. They also have card games which were enjoyed by our family. It was also good to be able to rent motor bikes easily as they were already available at the property. The staff were very accommodating and did everything to make our stay comfortable. Special mention to Giselle. Even gave mosquito coils and spray to help us during our stay (rainy season). There was a mis-communication about the extra bed and transportation but it was sorted out promptly and the reason for the oversight was explained to us.

We absolutely loved our stay at Soultribe. It’s such a special little spot. Laid-back, beautifully styled, and right on this quiet stretch of beautiful beach. The cabins are designed so you wake up to ocean views, and at low tide you can even walk across to a tiny island just offshore. The food was delicious, especially the chia and there was another breakfast dish I loved, but I can't remember the name. Our friend who sampled practically every variation of Adobe, rated Soultribe's the best on the island. Big shoutout to Tracy and the all of the staff who were next-level friendly. Thank you all! The surf instructors too were also great. We can't wait to come back!

It's a little far from the main area of General Luna but staff was extremely accommodating in always arranging tuktuks for us.

Ivy at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. She walked us through options for our stay and helped us book several excursions making it so easy. We made use of the free paddle boards and the private beach which was a great touch. We also loved the food from the resort!

Ask for David as surf instructor & eat pancakes. Perfect if you’re looking for not touristic place and immersive experience. Staff 10/10

The power went out a lot. But there was back up generators that took a while to turn back on. The a/c didn't work well and saw a rat at our window. Most times we took a tuk tuk from town, they didn't know where this hotel was. But otherwise it was fine.

The staff was very sweet and the kitchen menu was delicious. Would have been nice to have more options since we ate there every day. But it was tasty.

I don’t know if we came at the wrong time but the bathroom is not well maintained. It was raining so its a pain that a trash can is not available inside the room. There is no toilet seat and sitting in the toilet is very painful. So many little insects crawling and wood dust falling from the ceiling.

I like the idea of the place very quiet and nature feels. The staff is really nice.

The location is outside of General Luna, which means it's very quiet, and you don't hear anything. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. The staff was very accommodating and the food was good as well. They also have paddle boards which you can use for free! The rooms were spacious and clean and the outside shower is idyllic.
