Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesBeing a suite room, I was expecting a polished room but it was not. The bathroom smells and the doors are flimsy and hard to open.
The suite room is big and had a great view of the Taal Lake.

AustraliaThe room has a pungent smell of dogs' urine. Housekeeping should do a in-depth cleaning of the sofas and carpets. No liquid soaps available in the bathroom. No enough toilet rolls provided. During rainy season, hallway is so unsafe. Managment need to create a safer pathway going to the lift area.
Nice view of the Taal volcano Very spacious room Comfortable beds

PhilippinesWe haven't used the pool since it's under renovation. The hotel didn't advised that it was the pool that's under renovation. I wish there's a bar soap and a lotion 😁👌
I like the bed and the whole room with a nice view of the lake. The staffs are nice and friendly.

SingaporeThe living room balcony door was difficult to open so we had to inform the facilities management which they did eventually fix. The microwave smelled and housekeeping was informed and they changed the microwave. Both could have been avoided if staff checked thorougly prior to our check in.
Location had a nice view from balcony and was very nearby to various food and shopping options. Breakfast buffet was good but likely not halal, other options available such as bread, waffle etc. Room was good enough for 4 people. Muslim prayer room, gym and swimming pool were available. Front desk available upon my arrival around 2am and quick to respond to requests via call from my room. Housekeeping was efficient.

United StatesHouse keeping was terrible. Dirty sheets, towel, even coffee cups were put back in place like they had been cleaned. My feet were black because they obviously don't know how to clean a floor, corners were filthy, so sticky. I like to walk the stairs for exercise but tiles were loose, many broken or missing. Front desk was very nice.
Nice room, good view

PhilippinesIt says ‘Newly Renovated’ as advertised but it did not look like it was, so obviously some works are still ongoing at the property. The pool area was not maintained well, pool was not clean, showers were not working (fixed only when we were there), bathrooms are stinky, pool step ladders were broken and some tiles are broken. There are only two elevators and one was not in service.
Location is great. Buffet breakfast was good, but this time it was at a smaller room on the 2nd floor probably because of ongoing renovations.

United Arab EmiratesThe location was perfect and in close proximity to dining areas, the beds were super comfortable, the only issue we had was the noise of the road can be heard from our room like a loud speaker even though we were already at the 9th floor (highest room). The glass walls were not sealed properly.. but the staff tried to fix it by putting a cloth and tape. For the price I paid (20k for 2 nights), i would expect it to be quiet and tranquil.

PhilippinesI reported that there is a bit of offensive smell in my restroom as it smelled some sewage leaks so that was offputting in my opinion. I reported this to the staff. I forgot to request for air-freshener to counter the smell when I use the toilet or take a bath. I also noticed that there were no face tissue in the room. They provided kitchen towel tissue as alternative which was really disappointing. I don't recommend also their inhouse restaurant. Did not enjoy the food I ordered from them. The hotel is beside Robinsons StripMall in Tagaytay so it's very convenient to go there and eat at your preferred restaurant. I am aware that this hotel was just recently renovated but the gym and the pool area felt like unkept. When I toured some floors especially those near Robinson's, some rooms were abandoned. Quite creepy actually.
I booked my stay in Summit Ridge ( a member of Robinsons Hotels) on Jan 29-31, 2025 to have a short vacation to savor the coolness of Amihan in Tagaytay. I only paid for the room in my stay with Summit Ridge. I loved the bed, the pillows and the spaciousness of the room in a high floor with the majestic view of the Taal Volcano in my balcony. The view is breathtaking especially during sunrise and sunset.

CanadaThere is a smell in the bathroom. The elevator is too slow. The check in was so slow — our room key is not ready even if we checked in an hour later than the usual check in time. The wifi need to be reset before we can connect. Extra bed costs 1,500
