The only downside was that the water seemed to be turned off between like 10pm and 7am or thereabouts, so if you get back a bit later or need to be somewhere early, don't expect a shower. The food options were great but it wasn't the cheapest, which makes sense considering the location.

It was a lovely hotel with exceedingly helpful staff and wonderful views. It was removed from the hustle and bustle of the main area which suited us, but if you're looking to be in the thick of it, you're better off staying in El Nido proper. It was quiet and the rooms were lovely, with air conditioning which was so necessary!

It is connected with a famous bar , so during rush hours if you need something it’s almost impossible to get it. Any information, or towels or anything about our stay . We had the label do not disturb at the door of the bungalow, but they did enter inside to clean , although we didn’t want to. No drinking water provided and also the other place that we stayed had an area that we could clean our feet before entering the bungalow, this one didn’t.

The location is good , I stayed in another place close by and it’s a nice place to watch sunset and enjoy.

The food and drinks was massively overpriced in comparison to places in El Nido town. The nightly rate was also extortionate for what you get (a bamboo hut on the beach). The A.C unit was also so loud it sounded like a plane taking off.

Amazing sunset with beautiful views. Good for a x1 night stay if you want to be out of El Nido town.

Access to the property from the main road is difficult, especially when carrying luggage bags. You have to walk 10 minutes on the sand/water/rocks to get to your room. Luckily the staff meet you at check in / check out and carry your luggage for you across all the sand and water.

Right on the beach with amazing views and easy access to the beach.

It’s on one of the nicest beaches close to el nido. There is a good vibe in the evenings along the restaurants on the beach. It’s a great spot to relax and soak up the stunning natural beauty, and it’s only a 15min tuk tuk into el nido

There was no direct route from taxi drop-off to the beach, but the staff helped us with our bags (couldn't have done it without them). Note that high tide is in the morning, so if you try to walk through the beach between 7am-12pm, you will need to walk through the water (which thankfully hotel staff helped with our bags by carrying on their heads). Breakfast started slightly late at 8am (which is not helpful for our morning island trip). There are lots of flies, ants and mosquitoes (but this is expected for a tropical island - use insect repellent and just keep swatting off the flies).

Amazing location - at the very corner of Las Cabanas/Maramegmeg beach - good views in both directions. Nice beach hut, separate bathroom (nice-sized bathroom, clean, decent water pressure). Good, strong airconditioning, which keeps the mosquitoes at bay. Staff were helpful, communicative and friendly (they helped carry our bags from the McDonald's pick up point which was about 10 mins walk through the beach - hard work!) Very good internet signal. Helpful breakfast servers. Good beach for swimming, walk a bit towards Vanilla beach (sandy beach), but for snorkelling, best to go towards the rocky island near the resort (we saw a turtle!).

Staff could have been more approachable. Sometimes, it felt like we were bothering them when asking questions. It would have been nice if they could have been a bit more informative regarding the breakfast and that it was at a different hotel.

We were trying to contact them because we need a transfer from airport. But they didn't respond to my request. I wasn't sure if somebody's picking us up or not. So we just hired a tricycle to got there.

The place and view is beautiful. It's just a 10 minutes walk from the entrance and needed to walk on the sand with our big trolleys (they have employees to carry our bags)

They only have 2 power plug sockets in the room. And they were already preoccupied by electric fan and bed-side lamp. With the price we pay per night, I expected a little bit "extra". But there were not even complimentary bottled waters or welcome drinks.

The room is aesthetically nice and clean. The view outside is also super nice.

I was unaware that you have to walk 15 minutes on the beach to reach the hotel since there is no direct road. I advise everyone staying there to call ahead and they'll send guys to carry your luggage. Also the wifi sucked.

    1. The property is dirty. It’s not the same and not aligned at all to what they marketed. I had to ask for a trash bag so we can maintain the cleanliness of both rooms. 2. There are lots of stray dogs which they don’t care to keep it away from us from our rooms especially during our breakfasts. 3. We had to adjust to them instead of accommodating to our needs. 4. The mosquitoes were out of control as they don’t maintain cleanliness of the property. 5. Wifi internet was sooo bad and slow. 6. Response time in terms of communicating with them was so slow and not real time.

    1. The bahay kubo style.

No hot water, water kept running out throughout the day, kept forgetting to give fresh drinking water, Cleaners forget to give face towels often, hotel let hawkers n staff sit in front of our cabin listening n perving at us, stray dogs jumping on us at breakfast time n sitting outside our cabin, breakfast tables disgustingly dirty always, ants on the eating tables everyday n no one cleans properly, not worth $300 a night as is only 1 star place but had the nerve to charge for 1 extra piece of toast...unbelievable. management n staff are nowhere to be seen n help with issues, all staff run away from guests, smart tv blew up when first turned on , no replacement , just put old tv in place, dirty concrete shower, can see through our windows at night time from outside , kept forgetting to replace coffee satchels, after all these issues, no one from management or staff asked if all our problems were fixed. The only person who tried to help was Jericho. Couldn't flush the toilet when the water wasn't on, which happened often. As i travel often to many countries n places , this has to be one of the worst places I've stayed at n our romantic holiday was a disaster. Would never recommend this place unless you are a backpacker. They also con you into believing that their hotel is the same as the original Las Cabanas as they use the same name but put sunset in front of it, so don't be fooled its not the same at all, 1 star compared to 4 stars. Anyway I'm sorry I had to write this truthfully but the whole place was that bad , starting with management all the way down. Except for Jericho. For the 7 nights you can stay in Vietnam n other places on the beach in super luxury in everyway.

The room has cockroaches we saw one when we first entered and some during our stay. The stay is very expensive but the room does not have a wow factor, not clean. Just enough to not be called dirty. All furniture seems old and worn out. So many flies in the restaurant area.

The view during sunset and it’s near Vanilla Beach but the beach at the front of the property is not so nice. You can actually go to that spot and not stay in the property.

    Bad manners from staff.

An overrated property!! Overpriced and poor staff. Except the guy who helps us to carry our bags for more than 500 meters until we reach the property. For breakfast, we took one out of 6, and it was the first day. The pictures don't match the reality— a scam. I wouldn't pay more than 35 USD for a night.

For the price we paid, we are disappointed by a lot of things, unfortunately - No complimentary water - No facilities - No shelves or anything to put our staff in the bathroom, we had to put everything on the floor - Wifi was slow at best - Too much noise from bypassers, hotel next door with live music every night

    - The cottage was super cute - Staff helped with suitcases to and from the hotel - Great location for sunset (check the high and low tide though - unable to swim there in the morning due to low tide)
