Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomJust a suggestion: there should be safety box in the room, although the dresser has key-safe drawer. Coffee is only free on our first day breakfast, this should be clarified upon check-in.
Toto, resort manager, is very accommodating. He will recommends foods and places in Siargao. The room is spacious and clean. The property is next to the beach and along Tourism Road which is the night spot in Siargao. There is good transport service all around and food stops in every corner.

United StatesThis small, quiet resort, which has only three units, is just on the outskirts of the busy area of General Luna; the busy areas are easily reached with a 10 minute walk, or just a few minutes if you catch one of the ever-present trikes that only cost about $.50 per person. The two rooms we had were very nice and large, with the beach just steps away. Manager Toto was very pleasant to deal with, and very accommodating. The breakfast was excellent, and delivered each morning between seven and nine am, depending upon when you asked for it. Strangely, no coffee or juice were included, but the food was excellent. The WiFi was excellent as well. Unfortunately, one of the reasons I stayed here was that it had an on-site restaurant, however, after making our booking, the restaurant closed and is currently being remodeled; I understand, though, that it is supposed to reopen in March sometime, but, there are many other restaurants in both directions only a few blocks away. Just a heads up, payment is not collected prior to arrival, and is to be paid with cash or card upon arrival. However, the hotel attempted to add a 4% card surcharge, which would have been fine had it been disclosed upfront. We were able to get that waived, but I recommend strongly that this surcharge be disclosed up front. A better approach though would be to simply bump the price just a little bit, like 50 pesos or $1, and then offer a discount for cash! Overall, I would return to this Resort if we come back to lovely Siargao 😊

FinlandThe shower was not well planned. When we were using it, the water goes straight over the shower curtain because of the pressure, so the floor ended up very wet. Would be also nice if there's a proper mirror , not just in the bathroom but also in the room. Not a big deal though, but it is something to consider having in the room

United KingdomWhen we arrived it became apparent at check in that the accommodation was being renovated and although we had emailed the host there was no mention of this. They have 4 letting rooms all at ground floor and are adding a second floor, this meant jack hammers, erecting of concrete shuttering and building materials all around the accommodation. The host did apologise for the disturbance but had they been upfront about the ongoing work when we booked I would have gone elsewhere. If you book here in the near future please ask if the building work has been completed.
The hotel was in a good location, sea access and plenty of bars and restaurants near by. On a main road. the room was spacious and had its own bathroom.

GeorgiaIt's not really suitable for long-term living. The internet connection is weak. There's no proper kitchen or stove for cooking — despite all the space. It feels like the place wasn’t designed with long stays in mind and could use more thoughtful planning in the future. There’s also a strange setup when it comes to water — despite being in a fairly high price range, you have to go and fill up a small pitcher just to get drinking water. And unless you specifically ask for cleaning, no one will offer it. At the same time, you can't clean the place yourself either, because there's nothing provided for it — not even a basic broom. Still, for a couple of days, like most of the neighbors I had during my stay, it’s fine. But for the same price, I previously stayed at another place where the service was on a completely different level — truly night and day.
The place itself is in a beautiful seaside location — you can step out in the morning and see the ocean right in front of you The house is spacious, with plenty of room inside

United StatesI would recommend the property get SUP boards or kayaks for customers to use in the future. Since the property is beach front it will add an additional asset to the property.
Everything about this property was beautiful. Our host, Jojo was honest and humble. He made sure to make us feel right at home and accommodated our request for early breakfast. His hospitality is amazing. He also warned us where the tourist traps in Siargao is to prevent getting scammed.

GermanyA very quiet resort with just 3 rooms, the room was very spacious and clean, and the resort had a beautiful beach just a few steps from the room. The room has every amenity needed including a fridge, microwave and hot water kettle, aside from the very nice property and room, the resort manager 'toto' is very accommodating and friendly, he answered every question i had, and fulfilled every wish i had. This resort should be very proud of the resort manager, a nice room is not all you need, but a person like Toto who is so accommodating and has the knowledge of his hometown Siargao is the best they can have. I felt so relaxed and enjoyed my stay. If ever i come back to siargao, this resort would be the first choice place i will stay. I hope that your resort will be very successful in the future and fulfill their expansion plans.
