Idyllic location. The ladies running the place were really friendly and helpful. The provision of the cooking class was a nice little extra. Provision of snorkeling kit was great

We liked everything about isla. We got bitten by insects, but thats just part of nature. Just got to make sure you bring repellent

Lovely location and views from the hut. Food was amazing! Loved the dinner, it was great both nights. I really enjoyed the yoga and cooking classes. Sunsets were also beautiful :)

Didn’t realise you had to pay in cash, luckily we had enough but make sure you have enough to cover the hut price.

The location was ideal, only 10 minutes from the port & easy to get to from el Nido! The huts on the beach were magical with brilliant views of the bluesy water. The shipwreck was an added bonus to the property, being able to snorkel over was unreal.

We were waiting a long time for everything, our room wasn’t ready until around 3pm. We ordered lunch and were waiting over 1 hour for it, with others also waiting this long, not what you expect from a place like this. The dinner was not good and once it was served you were not able to get anything from the bar, this meant that from around 8pm you couldn’t even get a drink.

We loved our stay at Isla – The Island Experience. The community village vibe and simple island life made it feel like a true paradise. Since we visited during the low season, we practically had the whole island to ourselves, which made it even more special. The staff were incredibly warm, accommodating, and respectful — always mindful of our needs without being intrusive. The food, though basic, was tasty and nourishing, exactly what you’d want in a remote island setting. We appreciated how the experience stayed true to its promise of simplicity, natural beauty, and disconnecting from the outside world.

There’s hardly anything to dislike — just a few mosquito bites here and there, which is expected in any tropical island. We would only suggest a few maintenance checks around the facilities to ensure everything remains in great shape for future guests.

All the staff was amazing, kind & helpful but I wanted to emphasize Hennel she went above and beyond to make our experience (proposal) unforgettable. The place is like to be in paradise. Great for snorkelling and relaxing.

The setting is pristine. It really is a paradise. Water is crystal clear, excellent snorkling and the beach is beautiful. Its quiet and away from the crowds.

The heat at night while trying to sleep. But the open huts were beautiful, just be prepared for hot nights.

The location was stunning 😍. The staff were lovely and always responded quickly to any issues. The food was good and the additional activities included such as snorkelling, karaoke and the bonfire were fun.

We travelled at the end of May so it was very hot 🔥. There is no aircon which we knew but the fan helped sleep a bit. Rooms are fine but too hot during the day, to sit in, not a complaint but just sharing experience. We did spot and film a box jellyfish within the main swimming area and although we raised awareness and were told staff would raise awareness nothing happened. We alerted other guests personally. Salt water showers, again we were aware but takes getting use to. Giving 10 as despite the jellyfish challenges every staff member went above and beyond. Not a luxury resort, more of a backpacker vibe - set in paradise.

The island is beautiful, real paradise and the views are amazing! There was a free yoga class which was very good.

The breakfast was included in the price but was very poor. We didn’t like it. For dinner they serve a buffet but again is much below expectations for the price of 480 php per person with no drinks included.

The island is amazing, turquoise water, white sand. The snorkeling is great at the wreck ship. This island was absolute paradise. The food was incredible every single day, fresh and full of flavor. Snorkeling was unforgettable with crystal-clear turquoise waters and vibrant marine life. The white sand beaches were peaceful and picture-perfect — I didn’t want to leave

From the lovely huts on the beach, free yoga, the incredible staff (shout out to Diana and Eliza for being wonderful hosts) and amazing food from the Chef Mikes - we loved it all!
