Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MaltaIt was an overall good experience. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The only issue was that they made us pay 1000 php for two bed sheets that had been made dirty with ice-cream from small children. They could be easily washed off as ice-cream does not stain. Also a bed sheet in Philippines cost around 250 php so we paid twice the cost of it.

CanadaThe property was situated on a road with a number of squatters living across the road and little kids running around on the road. There was a LOT of garbage around the area. The hotel property wasn’t too bad but there were quite a number of rats running around outside the building. There were also many homeless/squatters hanging around in the alley making noise as well as some sort of industry that started early in the morning. Noise is to be expected in the city but for us it was a bit much. There was a shortage of parking so we had to park in the alley several times which was quite dirty and out of sight of the security guard who was sound asleep numerous times during our stay. As well, the elevator was not working but they did carry our luggage up the stairs for us. As far as the room itself, there was no fitted sheet on the mattress. The flat sheet they made the bed with was undersized for the mattress so it would not stay on the bed and you would end up sleeping on the bare mattress. There was a duvet that was much too heavy for this climate. Only bath towels were provided, no face cloth, hand towel or floor mat and we had to go to the front desk to ask for toilet paper. The shower was difficult to figure out at first but once we played with it for a while we finally figured out how to get hot water although they had it set to just barely over a trickle which made it time consuming to shower.
The hotel was close to the public market and the price was quite low. The room was a decent size for the money. The staff were friendly and accommodating for the most part. There was hot water.

New ZealandWhat didn’t we like? Well how much time do you have. We arrived it was raining we rang the Property to get directions they didn’t pick up because we had to walk in the rain and when we got there we asked them why they were answering their phone and they said it was because they didn’t know the number. What kind of staff are they that don’t pick up a phone when they know they have guest arriving? The first room they put us in had a big dead bug squashed on the wall very unhygienic we told them it needed to be cleaned and we would like another room They moved us to another room to go to bed pillows and crawling with ants. There were ants along the wall and the headboard We told them we were leaving even though it was 10:30 pm at night dark and raining. They asked us to please give the one more chance so we agreed The third room we pull down the covers of the bed and it had spiders in the bed This was in front of The Manager who we told there was no way we were going to stay here and we were leaving and we expected a full refund We had to fight to get a refund nobody wanted to answer our calls and nobody responded to our messages This is the worst experience we’ve ever had and we would advise any future travellers to steer well clear of this and any other location owned by this company The staff didn’t care about us all they wanted was money
The only thing we liked about the Property was the Location
