We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GreeceI dint like the area was so difficult for taxi drivers to find correct address so we had cancelation I'm booking taxi at first.second the dint had room I booked and gave me another one not similar to price I paid. 3rd the only had one towel for body not second foe face and the worst employee at reception desc dint gave me back my passport despite fact I asked for it they charge me for a bottle of water and coffee and for some stains on sheets which I payed. Due to tiredness and pressure we left he dint hand me over passport!!@result is I realize at hotel had to run back with taxi pick it up and cause unbelievable traffic we lost flight with my girlfriend and I had to buy extra ticket for another 1400php!!! I don't recommend to people to choose that hotel

AustriaThe management could have told us that there was no cable television. No cleaning service. Have to run after to change the towels, toilet paper and the door keys not functioning. Would like to check out immediately but they wouldn’t refund our money we paid back. It was a very miserable stay! Please take this hotel on your list as you will just damage the reputation of booking. com
