Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PhilippinesNOTHING noteworthy actually a.k.a. slightly trivial matters like how a CLEANER should approach clients like greeting them with ''good morning po" or "sorry po knock knock maistorbo ko lang po kayo saglit papalitan ko lamang po yung balde tabo etc.." and what not. In short, although polite words/phrases are sometimes not given priority in many a dozen small establishments in the Philippines, it makes a big difference and lasting impression.
Quite a VALUE FOR MONEY accomodation with a lot of pros and less to zero cons. What they nailed thus far : - WIFI. Very digital nomad friendly. First floor and second floor have wifi. - Friendliness. 9/10. Generally very pleasant personnel. - Accessibility. All gastronomic spots/restos are only a few dozen steps away from the property. Not to mention a grill eatery is just right in front of the property - Bed. Very comfy and it can fit 3 persons - No pests.

ItalyThe location is close to a quite noisy junction, it's difficult to sleep without earplugs. The building is generally clean, nevertheless I saw some bugs, also in my room. I suppose that it was due to the abundant rain of those days, and probably it's just normal on Bantayan Island.
I think it's difficult to find a better wifi of the island, and at the ground floor there are tables and chairs close to power sockets, so it's a perfect place if you need to work with the laptop. The building is just renewed. Room was big and bed comfortable.

PhilippinesI recently had an incredible stay at this hotel on the island that exceeded all my expectations. The staff were exceptional—always attentive, friendly, and eager to assist with anything we needed. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making us feel truly valued as guests. The location was absolutely prime, situated conveniently close to MJ square and beautiful beaches, allowing us to explore easily. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, with modern amenities that enhanced our experience. Overall, my experience was nothing short of awesome, and I would not hesitate to book this hotel again for my next visit to the island. Highly recommended!

The staff are accommodating, very helpful with suggesting where are the best spots to eat or see. The room itself is clean and spacious. The breakfast menu they offer is delicious and cheap. Minutes away from the beach, surrounded by restaurants, pharmacy or mini mart. I highly suggest to book this place when you go to Santa Fe.

United Kingdomnothing. we really loved our stay there after what happened to our first night in another hostel, we regret not knowing this hostel first.
the staffs are very accommodating, they are willing to do everything they can to make your stay relaxing. they give suggestions on what to do and where to go if you ask them. they also have contacts if you want tour and would give you the right price. the building looks like it’s been renovated. it’s spotlessly clean, to think that it’s all white. you can also cook for an extra charge. we feel like we’re treated like a family there. it’s a few minutes walk to the beach, market and restaurants.

BrazilIt is not a good deal for money This place wants to pose as a "boutique hotel" but the services and amenities are really not well maintained We stayed here 2 days and we saw 8 cockroaches in total... I'm not exaggerating, everytime we went out for eating or going to beach, when we came back to room there was a new cockroach.... After a while I didn't even get surprised anymore and it wasn't small little bugs... It was the big ones with disgusting antennas and long legs The shower water smells like swamp... Really bad to shower On second night the pipe on upper floor broke and the roof of our room broke almost on top of the bed... For very little didn't hit us and our stuff, then we needed to move to another room in the middle of the night There is no table nor sitting space in the room The Internet isn't good The building is facing the main street in bantayan which means there will be motorbikes honking day and night... Good lucky sleeping The Ac makes a really loud noise... To the point I needed to turn it off to be able to sleep They have a big TV in the room BUT THEY DIDN'T PAY THE CABLE BILL... It was laughable when we turned on the TV and all channels showed the message "we didn't detects your payment please contact us to reactivate" We cooked a little breakfast for ourselves in the kitchen we even bought oil and butter and washed everything after... But when we checked out the lady came asking money for the use of kitchen.... I'm traveling for the past 7 years... I'm 4 months in the Philippines already and I had never heard something as absurd as "paying for using the kitchen" even more cuz nobody told us when we were using it... They waited checkout time to ask more money In short This is a poorly maintened place run by stingy people in a noisy street... There are many better accommodation in the island for the same price or even cheaper...
