I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful my stay in The Pure Yann was. When I booked this accommodation I thought the pictures looked very nice, but it was actually even better. It really exceeded my expectations. After traveling around the Philippines for a month, this is the best stay I have been by far. Henning and Mary are the best hosts you could imagine. They welcomed my husband and I with open arms, gave us advice, showed us the property around and we had great conversations. Not only were they very professional but also great people to be around. When it came to the room, every single detail was thought, the standards were amazing and the bedroom was pristine. Hot shower, quiet and strong A/C, a beautiful balcony to chill out, and plenty of space to storage and to move around the bedroom. The accommodation also has an open kitchen in the garden, very handy to have some snacks, drinks or coffee to start the day. The WiFi is super good, so you can also work while enjoying the gorgeous garden. At the moment, they are building a deck that overlooks the sea where you will be able to sit down, and watch beautiful sunsets. Honestly, they have thought of everything. Just so you know, they have 3 adorable dogs. They are super friendly and we loved seeing them everyday. But if you are not a dog person, don't worry, they won't come near you. They are very very well trained and very respectful. I just loved them and they made my stay even better. The hotel is also very close to restaurants and cafes, and just a 5 minute drive to the beach. I would definitely come back in the future. Thank you Henning and Mary for everything.

A beautiful spot 5 minutes walk away from the main road, making the area feel very calm and relaxing. The gardens and rooms have been beautifully decorated - everything feels very classy and nice to chill out around. Great balcony spot and a fantastic kitchen which was good to use! Staff and the owner were also very friendly, giving recommendations and helping me with transport plans, etc. They were always checking in and making sure I had everything I needed. Super welcoming! There are restaurants and shops nearby, and the main town of San Juan is a 20 min walk or very short scooter ride away. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything ☺️ The owners Henning & Mary are an absolute delight, their attention to detail is impeccable and evident across every inch of their property - they truly set a high standard for our accomodation expectations in the Philippines! - The bedrooms/ bathroom are crisp clean with gorgeous balconies to lie out on and wind down - The settings of the property are beautiful with outstanding sunset views - The design of the buildings fits in stunningly to the natural surroundings - We saw an array of wildlife including lizards/ praying mantis - We fell in love with their 3 dogs and were genuinely sad to say goodbye to them - The scooters you can rent at the property are the best we had in our 3 weeks in the Philippines with clean, new helmets - The owners are super interesting, welcoming and knowledgable We would LOVE to come back here as adored every minute

Henning and Mary were incredible hosts - very kind, helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful, quiet, and we could sit out on the hammock stargazing which was a bonus! There is also a beautiful spot where you can sit and watch the sunset as the property is located on a hill overlooking the beach on the west. We highly recommend you stay at the pure yann if visiting siquijor. We were also driven to the port for our departure which was very kind.

The place exceeded our expectations. Everything was super clean, and the location is right above the main road in San Juan. The best option is to rent a scooter (available from the property), but if you don’t want to do so, beach and restaurants are easily reached by foot. Hosts were great with tons of useful tips and recommendations. You can let them know if you need a ride from or to the port, it is inexpensive and much more comfortable than tuk tuk (especially with heavy luggage).

The owners are very kind and they helped us in everything we needed, they had great recommendations for us to where to eat and travel. The view was amazing, and the room was very clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again if I’ll arrive to Siquijor in the future and I’ll recommend for all of you who plan a trip to the island.

We love the peaceful place with a clear sunset view, the balcony is relaxing and great hangout spot. During our first day the room was very clean and smelt wonderful. The room was clean, new, and beautiful. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the location was perfect—close to San Juan and a variety of great places to eat. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. Even though I was feeling a bit sick during my stay, they made sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

There’s a shared kitchen which is handy but would prefer kettle and coffee etc. in room. Some additional shelves in bathroom would also be nice.

The hosts are excellent - they really try to make you feel welcome. There were a couple of issues during our stay and the IMMEDIATELY went about fixing them. The location is perfect if you want to access the beach and nearby bars/restaurants on an evening. They helped us rent a brand rend scooter and even took us to the port for our ferry on departure. Not to mention the place is brand spanking new!

I can't say I didn't like it, but I was less impressed with the sheets and the mattress, it was comfortable to sleep but I experienced more comfortable ones.

I liked that it is remote, but not very far, so you can enjoy the peace and still be close to restaurants and the beach. The design and visibility of the place seems to have invested a lot of resources and thinking. The owners are warm and nice people, always ready to help and ask how the day was, very available and inviting. It is important to note that there is hot water!
