Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PhilippinesIt didn't bother me that everyone can smoke anywhere. And I wouldn't change that for me. But it'll be good if there could be a specific corner for it. So I can bring my kids next time. Other than that prefect and I will just have to book them somewhere closer to this area.
Prefect spot for beginners in surfing like me. Walking distance to beginner surf spot. Lounge area for everyone complete from cooking equipment, fun activities and exercising. Internet is fast so it's also recommended for digital nomads. You will get enough peace in order to catch up with work then a crowd to speak with on how you could spend the day afterwards. Guests stay here minimum of 2 weeks hence the bonding between them is well in tact already.

United StatesThe staff was great and easy to make friends with fellow travelers in the common area. Free coffee and drinking water and many games and activities. Good selection of workout and yoga equipment. Close to surf spot and Saturday party. Family dinner on Monday and Friday was always delicious and a great way to bond with hostel mates. Chill social surf hostel for those who don't want to just party. Thanks for the great time.

SwitzerlandI had the best time at Three Little Birds in Siargao ! The vibe was so warm and inclusive, daily activities, amazing people, and a perfect location close to everything. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available to help. I also took surf lessons with Jondy and honestly, he made my experience unforgettable. Super respectful, patient, encouraging, one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. You can feel he loves what he does and cares deeply about others. Can’t recommend him enough.

The hostel has so much equipment to do yoga, surfboards, hammocks, weights to work out with, spikeball, books etc. Extremely social, so easy to socialize and a lot of events coming up. The kitchen is extremely cool where you can cook together. I enjoyed my stay so much.

SpainI wish I stayed the whole time in the hostel. Love it and miss it already. Only bad thing was cancelling 2 times in a row a family dinner. That was disappointing
Everything. It’s the best hostel in General Luna (i know what I am talking about, I changed 3) The common space, kitchen are awesome, people, music, events they organise- great. Beds, bathrooms - really good. Nothing to complain about really

My stay at 3LB was amazing, they truly create the family atmosphere 🫶 Everything was clean. You can use the kitchen, which makes your stay even more comfortable. Family dinners are truly the best! Don’t hesitate to book your stay there and chill on one of the hammocks!

GermanyPerfect for people who like social hostels which are not too much focused on party. It’s a great location for surfers, although you still need a scooter to get to surf spots (or arrange other transfer). The beds are comfy and the kitchen is great.

CanadaThe only inconvenience was that it’s hard to book a stay short notice as it is always filling up with new travellers!
I loved my stay at Three little birds, where the friends I met became my adventure family during my time in Siargao! The staff were beyond kind and accommodating, shout out to my brother Cy!! The three little birds has an amazing community space where it’s so inviting and between the cards games and live music jams I felt right at home!

SwedenYou have to go out of your dorm to get to the toilet and shower, which is less nice when it’s raining. The lockers are a bit narrow, quite big horisontal, they are underneath the bunkbed, so you might have to take things out of your backpack to fit it inside, but they also provide you with a plastic box in the locker, so you can put things inside. Bring your own padlock. The airconditioner is quite load.
The vibe at three little birds was amazing, so social and good spirit people. The thing I likes most about this hostel was the social aspect, the people and that they had a kitchen where you are able to cool your own food. The area is quiet, and you get Tea and coffee you can brew yourself. I was part of their monday family dinner and it was very nice! There was always toiletpaper in the toilet and you can get a hot shower. The staff is very helpful and kind! They have a great hangout space, with board games, guitar, hammocks, puffs, books, big speaker etc.

GermanyNothing to complain about :)
My favorite hostel on my whole 4-month trip! Super social, but no party hostel, which I liked. The hostel offers nice events and I really felt like home there. The staff is super kind und helpful. Cloud 9/ Jackinghorse is in walking distance, for everything else you would need a scooter, but I think that you need a scooter on Siargao anyway, so that’s no problem.
