Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanThe rooms are a bit unkempt. There are molds in the bathroom tiles. The cabinet doors are a bit skewed. Towels are obviously old. The linens and pillow cases are also old (has a yellow tinge). The curtains have molds.
The property is tucked in a Poro Point and is quite private. It has a beach access and swimming pools that cater to both adults and children. They have excellent staff, courteous and always ready to help.

United KingdomWe enjoyed the pools and on the whole had a comfortable stay but the upkeep leaves a lot to be desired. It appears that keeping everything in good order and especially the care of plants and trees is not the priority. Staff were helpful and friendly without exception. Still, this was not a five star experience. We found it disturbing that the resort encourages smoking through sales ladies parading through our otherwise very nice barbecue meal at the Fira beach club

AustraliaMaybe one day an elevator could be installed for retired, Senior and PWD, pregnant guests to ease their mobility to higher floors and for comfort and stable movements.
Excellent breakfast - a variety of dishes served to cater for different types of guests; young, old, international tourists, etc. Meals I’d had was scrumptious and again for guests who preferred continental breakfast, local dishes, light and heavy meals. So happy and countented with our meals.

United StatesRoom for Improvement: • Villa Amenities & Furnishings: While spacious, the villa did not meet Western standards considering the price. The kitchen lacked essential amenities like a microwave and clean dishes for leftovers. The furnishings felt cheap, with an old and stained sink, and no soap provided for the kitchen. Cleanliness is not great. • Water Pressure & Plumbing: The water pressure was disappointingly low, and the toilet barely flushed—this needs urgent attention. • Living Room & TV Size: With such a wide living room, I expected a larger TV that complemented the space. Not all rooms had TVs, which they should. • Villa Design & Renovation Needed: The interior felt dull and outdated, far from luxurious. A renovation is necessary, especially in the restrooms, which had ample space but lacked shelving, modern decor, and even simple towel hooks. Adding a washer and dryer would be a great bonus for guests on extended stays. • Main Resort & Villas Need an Upgrade: The overall resort, especially the villas, would greatly benefit from renovations and a fresh coat of paint to enhance its appeal. Poro Point reminds me of Kempinski at the Dead Sea in Jordan, but the difference is in the luxurious style and design. Investing in upgrades would undoubtedly elevate its reputation.
, and overall, the experience was a mix of positives and areas for improvement. What We Loved: • Location & Privacy: The secluded setting is perfect for those seeking peace and tranquility. • Breathtaking Ocean Views: The stunning ocean backdrop was a major reason I chose this property. • Spacious Villa & Large Pools: My family enjoyed swimming in the expansive pools while I relaxed with the calming ocean view. • Outstanding Staff & Service: The restaurant staff were excellent, and the reception team was superb—knowledgeable, welcoming, and even remembered my name, making me feel like a VIP.

United KingdomI first visited Poro Point in 2010 and the older part of the Hotel now needs refurbishment. It is faded. However the bed was very good and the aircon worked. Wi-Fi was good. I didn’t have a hot shave once because the hot water was tepid at best. I had to let out the sink water by reaching underneath the sink and manually lifting the plug device. Olives Restaurant didn’t sell wine by the glass which was annoying so I drank beer. Breakfast was great if you liked Filipino food and there was a total lack of fibre on offer. No toast either. The bespoke omelettes, however, were very tasty.
The location next to the South China Sea is fantastic. I also liked the security measures in place. Philippines is not inherently a dangerous place but visible security is welcomed and is a deterrent. The staff are super and are universally very nice people.

AustraliaWhen we arrived at the property they were having an electricity issue where there was no power in the rooms and no water at the same time. We understand that this was not beyond their control but for a big property and the amount of money people are paying to stay there per night they should have a generator that could supply the whole property energy. We were given a choice to upgrade to a villa and free dinner but we opted for the deluxe rooms to see the beautiful view that they are advertising which you don’t get on their villas. We were then upgraded to their executive suite which offers a private pool and a view of the water from your room, the rooms were huge and nice, giving you a good holiday vibe. We were offered 3 of the suites as we were travelling with our family for a vacation. The rooms were nice but would need more attention to cleanliness and maintenance.
The property has the Santorini vibe. The view was awesome overlooking the water.

PhilippinesI didn’t like their online messaging in booking.com, or lack thereof- nobody responded to my multiple messages. I wish their swimming pool has a deeper section, it is not fun to swim in as every part is only 4 feet deep. The chicken longanisa (or is it chicken sausage?) in the breakfast menu is horrible, like chewing on rubber, plus it doesn’t taste nice. Pls use a different brand.
Thunderbird did not disappoint, the place is beautiful! The breakfast buffet is also good.

Philippines1. The food menu - I wish they have more variant on the menu. We stayed for 3 days and we all tried all the food. When it comes to price, the price of food is too expensive since the range is 500-3000 per meal. Buffet is about 1,400 per person but the dish are limited. 2. House keeping - You have to call for house keeping and specify your objectives like, refill of toiletries or cleaning etc. Hopefully that cleaning should be done daily. 3. Beach - I wish the beach is accessible and well maintain. We can't use the pool (5ft) for 2 days since there's a on going shooting on the area.
I like the ambiance, the room is relaxing and the facility is a top notch. Hotel staff are accommodating. It's a serene and perfect place to relax.

PhilippinesWe had a hard time requesting a better table for the NY dinner countdown. The staff told us that our preferred table is already reserved for a specific group and all the tables were already reserved ahead of time a. I told them I initially called to reserve last Dec. 1. I had to really insist my request before they agree, only to find out during dinner that our preferred table was unoccupied as the group they assigned there did not come. Also, some of our requests when we called the reception were delayed and we needed to follow up before the staff took action.
The room and the whole property is really beautiful.
