United KingdomFirstly, there was no official hotel staff to greet me and check me in the afternoon I arrived. There was a lady from the room service team who was trying her best to contact the hotel staff to come over and help. I waited for 20mins for someone to come over. This already set the tone for my stay there, pretty disappointed with the lack of service. That evening I noticed several ants crawling all over my bed cover and had to message the staff to come to my room to remove them. The hot water was not automatic in the bathroom, and every time I had to message the staff to request them to turn it on so I could brush my teeth and have a shower with hot water. I had to constantly request for fresh towels. There was no where to hang them dry so they remained damp all day. The staff thought I was complaining about asking for a fresh towel each day. The wifi was also no working for one whole evening, they didn't notify me. I complained that it wasn't working and they said sorry wifi is not working today. On the last evening, I returned to the hotel around 830pm but there was no one around to ask to turn on the hot water. I messaged the manager but he said sorry I'm now in Manila and the staff finish at 5pm. So I had no choice but to have a cold shower that evening after going to the beach that day. I was checking out very early the next morning and there would be no staff at the front desk to switch on hot water. I then messaged the manager saying this is totally unacceptable, I'm asking for a very basic service, nothing special. The manager said this is not basic. I've been complaining about something since the moment I checked in and I should have booked a 4 star hotel. He said I'm too much and not understanding. He threatened to kick me out for my 'misbehavior' and that he would write a complaint about me to booking.com.

CanadaWe are a group of 3 stayed there for 5 nights. The owner is also the receptionist/cashier/tour coordinator/chef/gardener .The room is bare-bones only has a shower gel and shampoo, so if you need hand soap, kettle for hot water, slippers, hot water for shower, new towels, change of bed sheets etc. let him know ahead of time and be specific, in the quantity, i asked for slippers he only gave me one set. He does have 4 or 5 other employees they do assist him in gardening , tour activities , housekeeping and laundry ( which they wash them in the back of the hotel in a little wooden shack by hand and hang dry on the clothesline so the towels are always moist not very dry). We did a 4-attractions land tour and in the group there were 3 girls who were habitually late returning to the van after each attraction. At the last attraction the rest of the group waited for them for little over 2 hours in the van. When I voice my concern to the tour guide he just snickered with the girls and say nothing. At the hotel the owner told me there is nothing they can do to control other guests. The owner offers his own home cooking (also in the back of the hotel in a wooden shack) for breakfast to guests at 400 peso per head but we politely declined. No tv in the room btw and wifi is weak when we were using 2 phones and an Ipad. Be aware of insects , my friend got bitten on her left arm when she was sleeping ,
Nestled in seclusion, surrounded by nature's lush greenery away from the hustle and bustle of General Luna night life. The staffs were very responsive and accommodating. Very luxury and soft comforter bedding set.
