How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewLovely, just lovely owners and staff. You feel like part of the family! 2 minutes walking to a beautiful beach. The room was super clean and spacious (like in so many places only cold water which I don’t mind). Nice options for breakfast and Filipino food for lunch or dinner which I really liked, also burgers and sandwiches etc (loved the chicken burger!). It’s a small village, so you don’t have any network, but the WiFi worked well :)

Verified reviewi'm glad i stayed there as it was relaxing and just what i needed. I was lucky to get the beach mostly to myself at times and enjoy a cold drink at the beach club to watch the sun go down. Miki (the owner) can make amazing pizza and pasta and i was right there to enjoy it! They made me feel at home every day and i would recommend them to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. Verified reviewThe two rooms were very clean and modern. They even cleaned the room for us again in the middle of our trip. The people were very nice and easy to talk to. The food was amazing and always served with a smile. The wifi was good for the location. The beach is stunning and almost all to yourself, amazing for snorkelling or just casual swimming (no jelly fish) 10/10 recommend and will surely be coming back!!!

I think it is a bit expensive for what they offer, being in low season. I missed a cabinet to leave the clothes and warm water in the shower. The apartment was not super clean when we arrived.

Regarding the cost /rate per night for our location this is the lower and the best price for this season and you are the lucky one becuase the price before is 1,500/ night plus tax . This room you booked is 1,000/ night plus tax for 1 person only but when you arrive you are 2 people then the room you booked is good for 3 people with private bathroom inside and big bathroom and have external kitchen that you can use if you want to cook . booking.Com give you free breakfast for the Genues guest only for this room. The cost of the breakfast here is 180/ person x2 total cost for breafast 360/day i earn only 640/day beacuse the other also pay for the commision and the tax and you dont think that?. Regarding the cleanlines madam before you arrive the room is very clean everything are perfect beacuse i am the one who clean in your room and this building is new , Maybe outside there are some leaves from the Tree because of the rain and wind , i think is normal for this seasson. And the kitchen you should clean after you use of course. Anyway I just want the people to understand what are here. By the way , Manny of our guest are happy to stay here. Hope you enjoy your stay. Verified reviewAmazing place to stay. The staff is so friendly, the restaurant/cafe offers plenty choices of food and the prices are very friendly and the food very tasty. It is maybe 100m from the beach with free access. Quiet place in the village, very cute dogs. The room was very clean and spacious, we had a great stay. The beach is amazing. It is very long and not many people. The water is clean and blue. Sunsets are beautiful.

Verified reviewThe place is really close to beach which is the only good thing. The restaurant is probably one the worst we’ve had and there no alternatives in the area. We wanted to extend and the price for “walk-ins” were much more and we weren’t informed about this before checkout. On top of that to our surprise the second day the breakfast wasn’t included even though it was on our first day. Really weird, definetely some management issues.
First of all, thank you for being with us. however I have to specify some things: 1) To be able to say that the restaurant is bad, you have to first taste or try the food before which she has not done. So?!!! 2) Free breakfast is due to genius customers only when you book through booking.com .You did it and you received what is due. Any extension outside booking does not involve this service. Despite this, the second breakfast was kindly offered to you by our staff and you reciprocated by giving 2? !! . I would say not very polite from you. Did you do not like the location?, today with appropriate use of the internet it is possible to realize where you go. I would like to add more but it's not worth it. NO AC because they are on solar. Kitchen was useless with no coffee. Food was not good, coffee in restaurant was nescafe which is normal in this country. I was concerned when she opened room and started spraying insecticide, I didn't come to get poisoned. No hot water Nothing to do in area but walk on small beach. I paid for two nights but left after one night. $35 taxi ride each way from P.P.
Dear Mike, first of all thank you for being with us, however I would like to underline certain things so that the reader can understand how things actually are. but before going into details it is good to know what you thoughts were. speaking to our staff you immediately said that you didn't like the place, that you didn't like going to the beach and that you much preferred being in Manila. now I wonder and I ask you: before booking at Talaudjong beach, why weren't you informed that in Talaudyong the main element is the sea and that there are no monuments or museums?! Sorry sir but I have to tell you this, regarding the coffee we have different type of coffee in the restaurant you can order Italian coffee, American coffee, and the local coffee 3n1 . our best seller coffee is Lavazza espresso because the property own by Italian, all we had to do was ask. As far as the food is concerned, no one has complained so far, in fact we receive positive reviews every day. Regarding the insecticide was not sprayed but was given to you in case you want to use it. And about the transportation from airport to talaudyong beach you never communicate to us if we can organize the transport. You take by your own choice the taxi driver in the airport yes I know they as much money from you and sorry for that , We have contact he ask only 1,500/ trip or you can hire a car for rent or motor for rent in front of the airport. Anyway , I will stop here because I realize you are mistake in choosing the wrong destination.
