How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Water in the shower was tepid at best. It would be nice to have hot water even in summer. Restaurant staff were pleasant but it would nice if they could smile more! Maybe a staff training course would help?
Very comfortable, quiet room with large attached bathroom. Furnishings of a high standard. Breakfast was included in the price and was also of good quality: parathas, French toast, eggs, dhal, a chicken dish, samosas, porridge, fruit, juice, lassi, etc. Reception staff friendly and helpful (Noman and Aroma) and an excellent location near the Lawrence Gardens, perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing in this wonderfully chaotic city.

No default hot water in the summer, for some reason you have to inform them if you need it in the summer. Complimentary water should be a large bottle, not a small one. There are no outside views from most of the rooms, this may be a concern for some. The room we were in had a window with blinds looking onto the corridor so at night, there is a little t light coming into the room, this may be a problem if you want your room to be dark at night.
Excellent boutique hotel. Great quiet location. Great value for money. Good breakfast for what you are paying. Helpful front desk and staff. This is the place where we normally stay whenever we are in Lahore.

Would be good if the Management clean up the terrace/balcony on the first floor. Everything else was good!
Stayed here a few years back, and decided to try again because of the good rate. Better experience this time - love the big room, big bathroom, and we had window this time! Though it was dusty and nothing much to see on the terrace. Staff was courteous, desi breakfast spread was quite the same on the days we stayed - but my husband loved it! Feel safe with the CCTV, security guard manning the entrance. Love the location, near Bagh-e-Jinnah.

There was no lifts. The staff will give you hand if you are coming with luggage.
Neat and clean, comfortable stay, friendly staff. I would definitely want to stay back if in Lahore again. Highly recommend.

On the second night of my stay there was rain. When I returned to my room there was a splattering of what I thought was mud, but turned out to be sewage. It was fairly small so I washed it down with the shower and had the room cleaned. The next day, there was quite a large amount of sewage coming up through the drain. To be fair, the property responded immediately and moved me to a new room. It is a shame otherwise I would have rated this hotel much higher - though I am sure it is something they can fix easily enough so don't let it put you off completely!
The hotel is a boutique hotel, very modern, clean, well-maintained and looked after. It is fairly central for most things you will need in Lahore, and taxis were only ever a few minutes away when ordered on Careem. AC worked well, and the staff were mostly attentive. The breakfast was fairly basic, but for the price that we paid, we really didn't expect anything more. It was fine for a quick and easy meal to start the day, but don't expect anything fancy. Basic but good.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the location was great right across from the beautiful Lawrence Garden, nice size rooms, very good service, and an awesome staff members! I would highly recommend this hotel, and planning to visit them again on future trips to Lahore!

This is my 4th stay at Lawrence View Hotel because I know I will get great service in a lovely hotel. Well place to get to just about anywhere in the city. Lovely staff. Ate here on more than one occasion and the food is very good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Very well located opposite the Jinnah Gardens. Very clean, beautifully quiet with a very good buffet breakfast. Staff all very helpful some speaking better English than others. Our room had no window which was a shame. More electric sockets would have been useful.
