How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was a bit small for 6 people. It was hot in the room. Only one small window. No socket available, i could not charge my phone.
Check-in is possible during the whole night. Important for me because i arrived at around 2:30 am.

Windows were not sealed, there is busy street in front of the hostel, opening/closing window doesn't make difference There are no lockable doors to shower cabins, lack of privacy Wifi password written on inner door was incorrect No toilet paper in toilet cabin No soap in shower cabins Low amount of toilet cabins per room
Location is good enough, several bus stops from railway station 2 buttoned light switch 24/7 reception Bed sheets were clean Cleaning staff was working hard even on common areas - kitchen and toilet

No towels were provided. :( No possibility to leave our luggage after check-out (not even for a while) Not nice smell. There should be some air freshener in thee room and in the bathrooms.
The room was spacious. There was coffee and tea to prepare in the kitchen. There was a coffee machine with very accesible prices (payment with card). There were two fridges. The floor was clean.

Location is top. Bars and party 50m away, but not too loud to sleep. It's a bit hidden into one of the streets. No towels, you have to give deposit. Cleanliness is middle range. Overall, it's good for the value. Recommend to bigger groups.

The staff could be more welcoming and helpful with tourists, more prepared to deal with a traveller's needs (e.g. information on transport and on the city highlights). Unfortunately none of the employees at the front desk seemed to be aware of that when I asked for help. Other than that all great!
Very large hostel in a big building, every floor is equipped with a basic kitchen and dining room. The place was clean and well tended. When I was there it accommodated also non-travellers (local workers or people with an uncertain agenda). The location is great, very close to the city centre and in a lively neighbourhood with pubs and venues. Be aware the area gets pretty bustling and noisy over weekends.

The bathroom situation takes a bit to get used to and you dont really get your sheets changed unless you ask
Very nice considering the price, sharing bathrooms wasnt as horrible as i thought it would be considering the amount of people sharing, we did have some issues with some roomates but the lovely staff handled it immediately and very well

The showers would clog up occasionally and sometimes run out of hot water I didn’t mind but there isn’t any storage space for locking up your belongings in the dorms however they do offer free storage.
The location is the best for me, right next to a tram stop and so many places to eat/ get coffee. The price is very good and worth it to me. I was a solo female traveler so I did stay in a women only but still felt very safe in this area and in the common spaces.

The walls were quite thin, so we could hear the noises from the rooms beside ours and the busy street outside, too. The staff were quite terse, but it could be due to the UEFA football riots in the city during our visit. The toilets and shower areas could be cleaned more thoroughly as well.
The hostel is just five minutes on foot from the main square, and was a quick walk from the airport bus stop and the main train station. There were nice cafés, restaurants, and supermarkets around the area. The facilities were serviceable, but very basic—however, it's what you would expect given the price.

The comum area/toilet were clean and tidy. The room you need to be luck to share with the right people, what was not my case.
