How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewVery good location! there’s a lot of restaurants nearby. The host let us check in earlier than expected.
It’s a bit confusing to get in, but we managed in a short time. There’s also noise at night, but it’s manageable.

Verified reviewIt's on the 11th floor with a nice view. Walking from train station about 10mins . Good location with lots of restaurants nearby. It's has basic amenities which are sufficient for us. Overall, it's a good place to stay.
Lots of construction going on around the building. The only downside is no air-conditioning. In the afternoon can b a bit warm, though they provide a stand fan . Surprisingly night n morning weather was still cold in the month of August.

Verified reviewClean, very good location, responsive host, flexible check-in time.
Everything’s good, maybe it’s my personal suggestion, but I would work with interior a bit, maybe some local artworks, not a prints on canvas to give the flat particularity? But it’s a non-issue actually, just a playfull suggestion.

Verified reviewThe location excelent.
The building itself can be more attractive but the location make you to oversee the building. The washing machine did not work properly. There wasn’t laundry. No ramp at lobby entrance stairs. The bidet didn’t have enough pressure. Mattress ok but the pillows need attention. No air conditioning and to have cool air you must open the windows and the apartment become noisy. It is a busy street out there. The bathtub can use and stepper to get in and out.

Verified reviewGood location. Clean. Furniture almost new, but mattress smaller than the bed making cracking noises. Cleaning products and toiletries, tea and sugar. Private parking small (not assigned), but there are plenty of paid street parking nearby.
The address you see during reservation for ComeWa apartments is not the location of the apartment. My apartment was in a very old building (with lift). Inside the apartment is like the photos. Very noisy street, not AC (just a fan), very hot and not able to open the windows for the noise even at night.

Verified reviewLocation is great, and the process of checking in and out as well. For the center of the city, the price is OK. The host is nice.
From the pictures, the appartment seems nicer. It is old, the toilet is making noises all the time, the area around the building is under loud construction which could be stated in advance.

Verified reviewThe host was so helpful. He recommended a underground parking area just 100metres far from the apartment. It was 90zl per day. Apartment was very close to the centre but a bit far from the old town(30 min walk).
The house and apartment was so old. Furnitures were also to old ( kitchen,tv,washing machine…). The location was good but nowadays there is construction at the street so it was to noisy and dirty.

Verified reviewThe apartment features a kitchenette, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with a large bathtub. It was spotless and equipped with all the amenities one would expect. Ideal for business travelers, it is conveniently located in the business center of Warsaw. However, it may be less suitable for tourists aiming to explore the city’s sights.
The windows in the living room and kitchenette lack curtains or adjustable blinds; instead, the blinds are positioned between two sheets of glass and cannot be controlled. The living room faces southeast, which can lead to heat issues in summer, especially without air conditioning. However, during the cooler seasons—early spring, late fall, and winter—this orientation is beneficial. Overall, the apartment receives ample natural sunlight and is well-lit.

Verified reviewThe location is the only good thing about this apartment.
I think it's a rip-off that they charge this price for an apartment that constantly smells like sewage. A foul odor comes from the toilet. I read something before about it in a review and thought it was something from that moment, but NO. It's a constant smell coming from the toilet and it's disgusting. The worst part is that even when you close the toilet and bedroom doors, in the morning you can smell it from the bed. The toilet's door has a gap of about 5 cm underneath where the smell passes through, and the bedroom door is MISSING A GLASS PANEL, -as you can see in the photos-, so the smell reaches all the apartment. I had to put a towel on the floor covering the gap to stop the smell from reaching the rest of the apartment. Still going to the toilet or taking a shower is disgusting. Also, I don't know why they advertise the apartment as having a balcony when there isn't even a chair or table. I feel truly ripped off, and Booking.com should ban this apartment. It's truly an unpleasant experience. I haven't had to endure such a rotten smell, not even in a one-star hotel. I thought about contacting the host, but I did not want problems, and it didn't make much sense because to fix the smell they would have to simply replace the plumbing. The bed is horrible. I woke up feeling terrible both nights, and the pillows do not smell fresh. I don't think they even changed the pillowcases. I will be placing a formal complaint with Booking because this is unprecedented for me. I've been travelling for years. I'm a Genius Level 3 and do not wish this to anyone else.
