Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicI didn't like the noise from the outside restaurant at night, but still I slept well. I didn't like the lack of natural light in the room because my window led to the yard. But it wasn't that bad.
I liked the design of the room, the decorations, the possibility of making myself a tea and plenty of chances to get a good meal nearby. I liked the lively vibe in the neighbourhood.

United KingdomGreat location in the heart of the Jewish area of Krakow, which can be a bit noisy for those with shallow sleep, but the guesthouse provides earplugs! Tea and coffee are available in the room. The staff is super nice and welcoming and allowed me to leave my luggage for the whole day after checkout and collect it in the evening.

United KingdomNothing. It’s remote access, a little noisy and no lift, but those things didn’t bother me…
Traditional, no frills, not modern. But very clean with comfortable bed. Right in centre of Kazimierz so bustling right outside. Excellent position for sightseeing.

CroatiaThis is a place with the soul, full of decent artistic charm. Excellent location, clean, comfortable, sunny, view. No formalities, easy to check in at any time and to get in and out. The young lady at the reception was extremely polite, helpful, and open-minded even in demanding conversation. If you wish to eat a really good breakfast in the unique environment, turn right and stop at the second corner (Cytat Cafe).

United KingdomThe mattress cover was plastic lined, so it was a bit uncomfortable, but due to the amount of sightseeing I did , it didn't stop me sleeping.
This place is directly on Plac Nowy in the heart of Kazimierz District. There are fantastic bars, restaurants and market place just outside the door. The surrounding area is full of history. There are tran stops a few minutes walk away. The room is clean and traditionally Polish in decor. I felt safe walking alone in the area day and night. Zapakanka, Polish fast food is available in the square until early hours of the morning , about £4.

CanadaNothing, for what I paid it was great! And if you love history, you're in the heart of the old Jewish quarter.
Wonderful, helpful staff. Great location if you like being "where the action is"...it's noisy, fun and exciting. Staff went out of their way to make my stay great. Shutting the window, and using earplugs limits the noise. But it is in party central. Considering where you are, literally 10 minutes from the Old town, it's a great value. There's no breakfast option, but plenty of opportunities for breakfast close. A three minute walk brings you to a Schindler's List location...and others are close too.

Room was clean, cozy, and not far from city center. I could walk to every tour spots. There are many take-out food shops in front of this accomodation. It could be noisy during the night, but I actually didn't care much. They provide ear plug for this matter.

United KingdomThe noise at night is almost unbearable, it is a very busy square that comes alive late afternoon. Although earplugs are provided who isolate you from all the noises it is still annoying that such a lovely area in the Jewish quarter should have all these tourists ruining the atmosphere of an historical quarter.
Lovely building, delightful room, cozy with comfortable bed and nice Folk art around the room.

This place is in a perfect location in the heart of the Jewish quarter. The bars, cafes and markets are at your front door. The Old Town and castle are easy to get to with a tram stop just on the other side of the square (about 5 min walk away). The room is simple but clean and comfy. Note there are only stairs so be mindful of this but only two flights of stairs max. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

United KingdomSome people have said the noise is an issue but I quite liked it as it just means your in a very desirable place to go out and enjoy yourself. The room is supplied with ear plugs which worked a treat anyway. Also even when your in you room you’re still experiencing Krakow.
The traditional decor is complimented by these artsy polish folk statuettes which are very sweet. The room has complimentary coffee and a good selection of books in polish and English The location is perfect, overlooking a market in the ‘hip’ Jewish quarter where you’re spoilt for choice on where to eat out and have a drink from well renowned restaurants to street food. The staff are all very friendly and helpful especially the receptionist. Also has air con which I’ve found to be unusual in Poland. Everything good is in waking distance.
