How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There are a lot of traffic in the street - very noisy all night. And you can hear every step when someone is walking the stairs.
Very clean, spacious, good location for hiking trip, delicious breakfast. The spa zone is nice as well.

Everything closes at 22 so nothing else to do in thete after that.

Only downside was as we were out of main season the bar closed at 10pm.
The room was a nice size. Beds were comfy. Staff were all friendly. Breakfast had a nice selection of fruit, meats, cheeses and different breads. The swimming pool is warm, clean and lovely. About 30 minute walk into town / to the train station. Great location. Had a great night sleep here, was quiet.

Without a doubt one of the best places I have ever stayed. The entire staff is wonderful, from reception to the restaurant. My stay was wonderful and I will definitely return and recommend it.

Nothing to complain about, furniture wasn’t modern but it was good value for money and as said before rooms are spacious.
The property was close to the center, easy to walk to and from center. There is also a bus stop as soon as you walk out. Rooms are old styled but room is spacious and very clean. Nice view from our balcony to the back of the hotel, it was snowing so it made a difference:) Breakfast is very good, quite a variety.

The room was tidy, but at the same time very very dusty. When we first arrived the room was full of dust. Even the hairdryer was dusty so when we first used the hairdryer it was very smelly due to the dust. Aslo, I did not like the additional parking fee. I saw it everywhere in the city that people are trying to get money for parking, limited space lots of cars, I understand that, but still, 40 PNL for a day is too much after I spent quite some money on the hotel room as well, but at least there were cameras watching over the car. :)
The breakfast was really great with lot of choices. At the wellness we always found beds to rest on, and the sauna area was good. We had a really nice view from our window to a little waterflow which was next to the hotel. City was close but not too close which was perfect. Cleaning ladies were really nice, they were not speaking English but they were very happy and friendly (or I think so :D )

Wonderful hotel at the right time. Top notch service, exactly what we needed after a few weeks on the road. Food was great, room was great, common areas were clean and dining room was beautiful.

No AC in the room or it wasn’t working so it got hot. We opened the windows but the traffic from outside was too loud.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Crocus in Zakopane, ideally near the Kasprowy Wierch trail. The rooms were cozy, the staff friendly, and both breakfast and Wi-Fi were excellent. Pets are allowed for an additional fee. Highly recommend it.

The bed could be more comfortable. Breakfasts and coffee could be better. Design could be more modern.
The swimming pool, spa, and restaurant were amazing. Very nice and quiet location. Walking distance to the main streets and parks.

A great hotel in a great location. Great breakfast. Amazing staff. The hotel has its own parking. The hotel has a wonderful swimming pool. The hotel is perfect for both those who love the mountains and those who love the city.

The place we got, it was small but for one night it was suitable next time I would welcome something with a terrace
The breakfast was very tasty, the staff was friendly, especially the lifeguard. Nice place, we had our bikes parked safely behind the gate.
