How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

This is probably just me being an idiot but when it said “private room” I assumed it was just going to be me but it was actually me and two other people. Kinda stressful because I was traveling with a ton of expensive camera gear but they did offer to keep my bags behind the front desk and my room mates were very chill so it wasn’t a big deal at all.
Staff was helpful, place was very clean, bed was comfortable, there was a full size fridge and freezer in the room which is always nice. Guests from all over the world, made some cool friends.

It was not even a pro hostel but rather a university dormitory. Shared toilet ? Ok fine? But toilets are different, washing area is different and shower area is different. Still rather clean. BUT THE KUTCHEN ( even the staff would agree) HAD ,LIKE, NOTHING !!
Room was ok 👍 and that's it !!

I didn't have a key to get into the room, so I had to leave it open or go to reception. I had a terrible roommate who spent his time drinking and getting drunk. The bathrooms were apparently cleaned every other day, but there are too many people using them, so they need to be cleaned daily.
The hostel is well located, there are different means of transportation to get to various places in the city, and the hostel staff was very friendly.

The only downside is the noise from other rooms. Even with the doors closed, you can still hear sounds from neighboring rooms. However, when we reported this to the staff, they were very kind and went to the room to politely ask them to be quieter😊
The location is really good, with plenty of connections to the city and a convenience store nearby. The room is also nice for two people. It includes a refrigerator, a desk, a table, and chairs. There is also a shower, toilet, and washroom exclusively for female guests. You’ll need to bring your own towel and hairdryer.

Information on parking arrangements could have been a bit more clear on booking.com although Alicja explained our options very well on arrival. Nearby public parking is reasonably priced although be aware of high curbs. There was only one tiny kitchenette available to share between many people so preparing even a cup of tea was extremely difficult - no cups, spoons, plates available most of the time.
Very friendly, helpful staff who speak multiple languages. We were impressed by Alicja. Rooms and bathrooms as well as bedding and rental towels were spotlessly clean. Even communal showers were perfectly maintained. We were pleasantly surprised by a large fridge in the room. We loved the games room where you could play table tennis, darts or table football.

Kitchen lacks equipments. The toilet papers are always ran out at the evening till morning when stuff adds it, so it has to be fixed.
Beds were comfortable. The location is good, there is a station near.

I didn't like the 10 am check out or the 3 pm check in. The first too early and the second much too late. The walk to the city center is 48 minutes, I did it many times because the weather was amazing, but it is far. At night, some drunks hang out near the hostel.
DIzzy Daisy seems like a converted hotel but it was great. The room was spacious and bright with a large window. The bed very comfortable and the furniture good. The staff was very helpful and I was able to store my luggage after I checked out. The shared kitchen and the toilets are often cleaned.

A good international place with a well-equipped common kitchen. Looks as a standard dorminatory, but very clean and spacious. It was good to have a fridge in the room. The kitchen has tea/coffee/sugar, kettles, a microwave, pans and frying pans. Make sure you bring your towel for bathing (otherwise you can rent one for 7 zl), salt and oil if cooking. Carrefour express is 2 mins away, the city centre -25 min walk.

Broken (but still usable) furniture and powerless electrical sockets. Generally same like on pictures.
Perfect lobby staff, maybe the best in the city. They speak english and always ready to help.

Beds could be better.
Friendly staff, clean and nice, good location, parking available. In that wery hot days having a fridge in room was great option. Good value for the price.
