Location of the apartment is not only blessing, but a curse as well: it is very noisy even with all window closed, street musicians playing with loud speakers until midnight. I will hate guitar music for the next couple of years:).

Location of the apartment is very central. Our apartment was spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfast in a cafe next door. We could leave our luggage at the property before check in and after check out.

No elevator you have to wa K up the stairs.

No breakfast the location right at the old town where all the old buildings are located. Dom Schumannów is a historical building. The only problem no elevator.

The Dluga street itself is pretty loud - tourists and locals spending their time in the bars and making noise up to the sunrise.

It's like living in museum in the plane city center. Experience that goes side by side with the rest of the travel.

Air condition, longer beds. Noisy at Friday night, you can hear musik from neiborhood restaurants.

Personally we didn't mind, but it can get very noisy into the night, it quiets down around 1-2 am, sometimes later, since people outside are drinking and dancing and playing music and having fun. So just a heads up to anyone that isn't a heavy sleeper.

The breakfast was amazing, and it was RIGHT in the middle of the city centre! The room was very spacious, and the furnituring was beautiful as well.

Could sometimes hear the other guests, when open and closing the doors etc. Not the thickest wall.

It was quite noisy as the room faced the main pedestrian area and really needs better windows to keep out the sound. I think this would be worse in peak times. Also there were no curtains to block the light, just a pull-down blind. The room was on the second floor up some quite steep stairs and this might be a problem for those with walking difficulties, but we were OK with it.

The location was very good as it is in the centre of the old town. The room was smaller than expected, but with the two single beds arranged so they were in separate areas of the L-shape of the room it made it quite easy for two travellers to have some separate space and was quite comfortable. The beds were good. The bathroom was smallish, but also OK for us. Tea and coffee are provided in the room. The hotel is in easy walking distance to the station and all main attractions and there are many options for eating just outside. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was good value for the area. We did not have breakfast, but it is available in the next-door cafe if requested.

Since the house is an historic landmark, there are limitations on the contemporary comforts. This is not a luxury hotel, but for us the historical character of the place was charming.

We truly enjoyed very friendly staff of the Dom Shumannów. It is in a perfect location right in the center of the Gdańsk old town. Our room had a beautiful view of the Długi Targ. We liked the entire experience of the historical house.

Excellent location in the heart of Gdansk Rynek. Ancient building and design is adapted to the age of building, it's interesting. Friendly staff that waited for my arrival late in the evening.

Lack of and drinks, snacks the whole time is problematic.

Placed on the main square across from the old town hall was amazing and surrounded by original paintings and achitecture created a wonderful atmoshphere.

On the 4th floor with no elevator. Difficult for us older folks. But not a bad trade-off for the great location

HOWEVER, the issue arises with what's under the hotel. There's a karaoke bar that's open until morning, and people sang there until 4 am. Also if you're quite tall the beds might be too short for you.

Extremely hard to find since no one in the street neither knows the place nor the street address. A reference to the pub would have been appropriate. Bad smell in the room. Beds a little short for my size, 184 cm.

The interior is functional but quiet old. As the rooms are in the upper floors the room temperature at daytime can rise significantly. Some of the sockets didn't work.

Perfect location to explore the city. If you are looking for something to just lay down for a few night after a long day, it is perfect. You have good access to any transportation.
