Reviews of FOKA Hostel

My boys and I, we liked clean white linen and comfortable beds. The room has got all the necessary things - a hanger, a table and chairs, lamps. The bathroom is clean. The location is perfect, not far from the city centre. Friendly, helpful staff. There is a kitchen and a dining room on the ground floor which is an extra pleasure. Not far from the hostel there is a nice playground. Opposite this hostel there is 'Zabka' where we bought tasty hot dogs and the SIM card. Very convenient. 3 minutes walkable distance from the hostel there is the canteen 'Krowka' where we had delicious dishes. We really had a great time in FOKA Hoste l.

The soap was in the damaged bottle. No shampoo in the bathroom.

Excellent customer service, very clean facilities, comfortable bed. Each bed has curtain for privacy, lamp and charging sockets. Each shared room have private toilet and bathroom. Also there is kitchen facilities for cooking. There are shops around to buy groceries. The location of the hostel is nice. It is easy to get to tourist attractions. The hostel is close to transportation. I love the beautiful view from the Hostel. The staffs are friendly and you can ask them questions. They are responsive. You can drop your luggage 🧳 at the reception before checkin for free. This is one of the best hostels that I have stayed.

The hostel is quite good, I met here a rangom stranger from US and we went trough all the local bars LOL. The kitchen is really gigantic, I enjoy that!

no washing machine, what a pity.

The location is very centric, just a 15-minutes walk from the city center and there are a lot of options really close to the hostel as bars, restaurants, markets, pharmacy etc

We've been there during summer and it was hot inside the room. Also, the blanket is kind of plastic and not comfortable, if you want the "normal" one you need to put it yourself.. and that isnt easy specially for the upper bedrooms in the shared rooms. Also, we forgot a personal item on the room and wrote to them on whatsapp (the same one they used to write us before the check in) and they didint replied for more then 24 hours when we were already out of the city. So, honestly, dont recommend the place.

I stayed for one night, the hostel is located in a good area. The staff were nice and friendly and the check-in and check-out process was quick and easy.

There is no AC so it can get a little hot during the summer nights, but everything else was good

Very well located, clean, nice rooms. Perfect for staying over when visiting for few days.

In general, I liked the hostel. It was easy to find. There was a lift, a good kitchen with free tea, coffee, sugar, and salt. There is a small patio with tables for nice outdoor fun. The beds were very comfortable with curtains for privacy, lamps, and plugs for each one. The bathroom was OK as well. Also, the location was good, approximately 10 minutes from the old town. The staff was nice, friendly and helpful. You can leave your baggage for free if you arrive before 14.00 or go away after 11.00.

You have to pay 50 zloty deposit for a locker key. There were not enough hooks and shelves in the room and bathroom. You can not stay in the hostel if you arrive earlier or go away later than indicated time.

Clean. Bed was fine. 24/7 reception.

Got private room just to sleep before a flight. No AC, no TV. Room is very hot. Mosquitoes fly in with window open. Shower door doesn’t want to close. Not even that cheap. Pay a bit more for something better.

Staff were really good. Well stocked kitchen with inside and outside areas. Rooms were spacious and clean

Smoking in the outside area. Even though there was a designated area inside of the outside area, guests just ignored it and smoked wherever they wanted, forcing me to go into the indoor lounge. The smell of smoke is horrible for a non smokers.

The room and the bathroom was very clean, the bed was quite comfortable.

A bit far from the center (15 min on foot), might be inconvenient if you want to stop by during the day

Beds very comfy and have privacy curtains. Building and facilities are clean and modern, felt safe there. Kitchen had almost everything u needed. The staff were lovely and accommodating

Only 1 bathroom for 4 people in a room, had to wait sometimes to enter but not really an issue. Location alright, 20min walk to rynek.

Located at 10-15 minutes by walk from the old town central square, the rooms have been recently renovated and very clean and in the kitchen we fround all we need for a quick breakfast. The staff was polite and helpfull. We had a few days pleasant stay.

Literally comfiest hostel bed I have ever slept in. Love the curtain and the bunk felt very sturdy. The shower was super nice and not too cramped.

No A.C. So if you sleep past 10 am it starts to get so unbearably stuffy in the room like it’s literally the only thing about the place that’s not perfect

Very nice, clean and modern hostel. Very good price performance.
