How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There is a coffe machine in the lobby instead in the room.
The location was great 5 mins to Kazimierz and 10-15 mins to down town. Employees are really helpfull.

Absolutely amazing staff,very nice and helpful. The receptionist stayed and waited for us when the flight was delayed. Room very comfortable and clean. Location spot on. Highly recommended.

Hotel equipment is very old and some parts require refurbishment - carpets especially.

It’s an old hotel needs updating but it is ok as long as it is clean and spacious. WiFi is poor in room. No refrigerator and no kettle. For some days I got worn and frayed towels, to which they should definitely pay attention.
The hotel is in a quiet, tranquil street at a very convenient location in the Jewish Quarter. Within short walking distance to all key sightseeing spots in the Quarter, the Wawel Castle and the scenic and lively embankment of The Vistula River. But it’s about a 20 minute-walk to the Old Town’s main square while just a 2-minute walk from hotel to bus/tram stops. You can also consider to ride on Bolt if necessary as it is cheap and reliable. Staff extremely helpful and friendly, who changed my room immediately after check-in to another room with working air conditioning. A spacious double room with a good view (room 604) on the 6th floor though no lift from the 5th floor, which is fine with me. Be reminded to check the room size during your booking against the actual size of the room you are offered on spot.

Parking a litteram complicated. Missing sensor lights on halls, and also some issues with shower.

Nothing bad I noticed.
The hotel was very nice, 24 hours check-in desk helped me, it was quite warm and clean in the room, I liked furniture. In the morning I could drink coffee, even when I missed breakfast. The place where I'd like to return.

The bed could be bigger to be honest. It's just one thing that could be ehnaced. But it's not critical. Another thing - the air conditioning system could be renewed. But despite being old it did its job. Everything else was OK.
Nice place in the city center. The price was one of the best in a row. Breakfast OK, the utilities were good and in acceptable condition. People were friendly and helpful. For a short stay of 3-4 days it's good.

Staff was very helpful and polite. Reception staff communicated very witch each other-when I made and enquiry with one reception staff, when staff changed due to shift change they were well aware of my enquiry.

The shower was terrible. I couldn't put the soap and shampoo anywhere, only on the floor. The shower head didn't stay in the holder; I had to hold it all the time; therefore, I washed myself with one hand only. I felt like a one-handed person, who is fighting with the shower.
The location is perfect to visit Kraków. The hotel is in a quiet street, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was okay. The breakfast was good enough; not luxury, but just right.

My only complaint was the bed. If you sat or slept on the edge of the foam mattress it would fall onto the floor. The headboard was too low and would not stop pillows falling between the bed and window.
The Location is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and plentiful. A very short walk to the river and a pleasant walk to the Market Square.

eggs for breakfast often missing, cleaning off bathroom never happened, only towel changes. TV only available in Polish. Free tea and coffee for guests but was never any milk ?
Nice choice for continental breakfast, location was easy enough to walk to the center, rooms are warm and hoovered daily and shower was nice. Bedding changed daily. Quite location

The beds were not super comfortable and the walls are a little thin so there can be a bit of noise from the street and other residents.
Great location near the Jewish Quarter. Lovely helpful staff. Very good value.
