How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There was no warning that construction is going on in the building and near the building on the street, so the loud noises in the morning was a suprise. The parking garage has a height limit (up to 1.9 m.) and there was no warning during reservation, so I had to find other parking when arrived just because the car was too tall.

Verified reviewThe hotel is very modern, furniture and equipment in the room is comfortable and for breakfast there is offerred a huge variety of different dishes at the buffet. All in all a good stay
The parking is quite far, in case you don't make a reservation before the arrival. I ticked at booking.com that I will need a parking, but this was apparently not enough as a request. The far away parking does cost the same fee as the garage in the hotel, though the garage of the hotel has a very limited number of available parking spots. Since I was travelling with my mum, we requested a quiet room, but teceived one exactly in front of the construction site at the street and tram. During July also the whole entrance area of the hotel was under construction, what made the entrance very dusty, loud and not very welcoming.

The HVAC unit in room 201 is substantially louder than the one in room 401, even on the lowest speed.

Verified reviewThe location of the hotel is amazing, 10 min walk from the center of town and there is a tram station just in front of the hotel. We found a parking just near the hotel on the street, so didn't use the hotel parking (I assume the parking is way cheaper on the street). The staf was soo soo nice - we asked for help to organize a surprise for our douhter who had a birthday when we stayed at the hotel and they were very helpful and even surprized her with a complimentary cupcakes! Just across the hotel, there is an amazing restaurant for breakfast, very cheap and amazing variety.
The lobby of the hotel is being renovated (August 2025) but it wasn't a concern for us when we stayed there (maybe because of the weekend)

Price was 2x higher than usual, probably due to some event in the city. But since we were booking on short notice, we had no choice, and other hotels were similarly expensive for that very day. There's a refurbishment in progress on the ground floor, so the entrance doesn't look impressive. That's temporary, though, of course.

The hotel has so little parking that nothing was available. There isn't even a place where you can pull over to get your bags out. For 80 zł/night you can park outside when parking on the street costs 30 zł. The main entrance and reception was in renovation, you walk through the construction site and the hotel doesn't inform you about this anywhere. If I knew this I wouldn't have stayed there. Full price is charged and nothing is offered for inconvenience caused,, not even a drink. Left bad impression

However, we realize that despite this information, the renovation work may have affected the comfort of your stay, for which we sincerely apologize. The renovation work is carried out only on weekdays until 5:00 p.m. and is aimed at further improving the standard of our services and ensuring even greater comfort for our guests in the future. At the same time, we would like to inform you that there is also a staircase on the premises, which guests can freely use as an alternative means of internal communication, especially when leaving the hotel. Regarding another aspect of your opinion, namely the lack of parking, we kindly inform you that spaces in the underground car park require prior reservation. Unfortunately, at the time of your inquiry about availability, all spaces were already reserved. In this situation, as an alternative solution, we offered the possibility of using the parking lot at the Arena Shopping Center, with which we cooperate. In addition, our guests often use parking spaces in the city zone, available in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, subject to availability. We are very sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. If you encounter any difficulties during your stay, our reception desk, open 24 hours a day, is always available to help and will try to find a solution.
