I can't say I didn't like anything other than the fact that A/C is only in the bedrooms.

The manager is from the mainland, so communication was good. The location is centralized which makes going to attractions a little easier

I love the location, snuggled in San Lorenzo in a quiet neighborhood. there is a small store, conveniently located just down the road not even an eighth of a mile. The property is always clean and the area outback is always nice to relax. It is easy booking in booking out. No worries or headaches.

The power dose go out sometimes

The room felt comfortable everyone was very nice. It’s normal for the power to go out and luckily she has a very good generator where the rooms are air conditions all the time.

At night there was a lot of chatter, like at 10pm but it seized down in half an hour or so. After that it was really comfortable.

The owner was nice and comforting. The location is great since its pretty close to a main road. The space was nice too.

Amparo the host was amazing. She made food for a couple that came in late at night, made great conversation, and was kind and welcoming. The setup allows for the guests to meet in the common rooms, and so I loved going on adventures with them. Canceled the last night that afternoon not expecting any refund and Amparo offered and gave significant refund. In unit A/C as well!

Amparo was such an accommodating and friendly hostess. We arrived late and asked about recommendations for a place to eat that was still open, and she cooked for us a home-cooked meal. Very friendly!

Uncomfortable mattress, no back door with just a screen. Construction was unsightly.

Nice neighborhood, easy to find, clean, well appointed kitchen, well maintained, good value. Easy to get in and out off street parking. Host was very helpful with instructions for the tv, etc and recommendations for local dining and shopping. Air conditioning worked well. T-Mobile had good coverage.

Although the property is under construction it did not affect my stay in any way and I was able to carry on normally.

The best thing about the property is the Host Amparo. She made me feel so at home and made sure that I was welcomed. She invited me to dinner and introduced me to the other guests. It felt like one happy family. We played dominoes after dinner, drank wine and we even danced!

I cannot think of anything. Like I said, I plan to visit Gavidia again and again. No need to look for any other place. The value was fantastic. We got our money's worth.

They made us feel like family. We never felt like guests. Amparo treated us like family and it would have been impossible for her to do more for us. Pleasant, attentive, and a real gem. I plan to continue going there in my future travels.

Property was just as expected. Host was on property and was kind and welcoming. A bed wasn't so comfy but she quickly made changes and added a foam topper. It was a great night after that. It was a great place to stay, quiet, clean and quaint in the mountains but close to amenities. Would recommend.
