Puerto RicoThe distance from the parking lot to the hotel and the pool area weren't sufficient for the number of guests we were staying in. Likewise, from the room, you could hear what was happening outside, like the door being closed loudly and the cleaning staff working in another room.
Upon arrival, we noticed we were given a room with two beds, when we had originally wanted a room with a king bed. However, the staff who greeted us upon arrival were very kind and arranged for us to change rooms. The restaurant staff was also very kind to us.

United StatesThe common areas, especially around the swimming pool, are run down and would need a good makeover. The cleanliness of the bathrooms by the pool was questionable. The restaurants are ok but quite pricey. The location is great but you need a car if you need to visit the east coast and do some outings at sea or in el Yunque’s Forest. But most of all, the worst part was the mistake done by booking.com for not communicating my reservation to the hotel, meaning that we had no room reserved upon arrival and the hotel was fully booked. Thanks to the amazing staff they found a hotel room at the last minute, but it does beg the question as to how Booking.com operates, and whether one should use this website again…
This is a very nice hotel located in this big Palmas Beach resort. The two pools are nice, it is right on the beach, and it is a very friendly family ( they even have smores in the evening). The room was super comfortable too. But above all, the staff is excellent, very nice and super helpful.

United StatesThe rooms are pretty outdated. There is a significant disconnect between the lobby and restaurants and the rooms. They could use a good renovation. Breakfast was good but not worth if not included. Also, you need to be extremely patient and wait long times in the restaurant because they are slow.
Great location with accessible beach and convenient services to enjoy the pools. The beach is wonderful to swim and walk. There are beach chairs and equipment to fully enjoy your stay. It is well protected and secure.

Puerto RicoWell, the resort is remodeling some of the rooms, as we told. But we had a remodeled room which was comfortable and fine.
We enjoyed the excellent service from the front desk staff and the waiters at Trova Coastal Kitchen (the restaurant). At Trova, the waitresses Genesis, Kneshiane and Marisol did an outstanding job to help us find vegan options every time. The stay was very relaxing and the days were sunny. The resort is designed for adults in mind, but the children can enjoy the pools, feeding the turtles and making s’mores at night. The gardens are well maintained, which adds to the experience and enjoyment of being there.

Puerto RicoRoom needs mirror . There is only one mirror in the bathroom, unacceptable. Rooms need mantainance, I think you gave us the most run down room you have, it was not in good conditions. TV did not work. Apparently many rooms had same problem. We had a service technician in the room with us trying to get the TV to work for more than 2 hours interrupting our resting time and our family time.

United StatesWish there had been more choices on the continental breakfast that was included. All the grackles at breakfast. Parking is $15 + taxes ($22ish in total) That info needs to be updated on Booking.com There is signage at the parking lot with the new amount per day. Zen music at pool area a bit loud and redundant but we assume it drowns out all your neighbors and is intended to put you in resort mode.
Breakfast enjoyed on the outside patio of Trova. Enjoyed seeing a nest of monk parakeets in the tree off our balcony. Staff very nice allowing us to change to a room not overlooking the driveway entrance. Enjoyed the complimentary rum cocktail. Enjoyed dinner at La Pescaderia. Tried to go to Miramar for cocktails snacks but too busy, looked like a lovely location. Ate at Trova one night, good service.
