The restaurant Placita has limited hours, and the day I visited, I arrived a bit late — at 9:36 PM, to be exact — and by that time they were no longer taking any more orders, even though there were still 24 minutes left until closing time.

No alcohol in the morning at the bar?? I’m vacationing, and a morning shot of the whiskey in the morning would’ve made my stay so perfect.

The rooms are quite small. If you choose to hang your clothes up, you hide the main mirror!! If you like being watched in the shower by your partner, then this is the place for you!. Restaurant and bar are not open on a Wednesday or Thursday which was annoying, but other local establishments are available.

Very boutique style hotel. One of the best on Vieques. Room was comfortable. Balcony was good. Rooftop terrace was a great place to be. Has a hot tub!! Staff were incredibly helpful and available. Good for beach chairs and towels. Great location for amazing beaches an the bioluminescent tour

It would be nice if the staff at the restaurant (hostess) was more accommodating to the guests. We were told there was no room because we didn’t make a reservation. We asked for the bar we weee repeated that it was really busy. My daughter looked over and saw someone paying and we got the table 5 minutes after. The hostess could have looked to see but she just wanted to turn us away.

Beautiful rooftop where we enjoyed the complimentary morning coffee. Comfy bed.

I will never understand why countries that are warm have heavy comforters on the bed. A light blanket would have been so much better.

The hotel is conveniently located to the beach and the village of Esperanza. The facilities are great made even better since the hotel is adults only. The rooms are small but nicely appointed. We loved having a balcony to look into the ocean.

Overall, El Blok is a 10 out of 10 experience, but if I was forced to make a complaint, I'd say I wish there was more food available for breakfast. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

Beautifully designed hotel with comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. A great location and fun atmosphere. Quiet at night and full of life during the day.

Great room that provided hanging space rather than a wardrobe which was absolutely fine but the full length mirror is situated behind the hanging clothes which was rather odd. Certainly not a deal breaker!

Comfortable bed. Good bed linen. Room was very clean and well kitted out. Reception staff are outstanding as well as the staff in the restaurant La Placito. We had a superb meal there. Love the rooftop bar, we had pre dinner drinks there every night.

The sound proof is not very good.

Location is perfect, it is close to the beach and many other activities.

No TV in the room. We’re not huge TV people, but it’s nice to have when you’re going to bed at night.

The people were amazing. From the GM to front desk and service staff, everyone was super friendly and welcoming.

It should provide at least a Continental Breakfast. in the morning it had coffee in the restaurant and COLD milk with no means go heat it.
