Don’t have people exclusively dedicated to entertaining or supporting visitors. However, all of the employees were very helpful and knowledgeable about the property and entertainment areas.

We enjoyed the country feeling from Hacienda Juanita. It’s rustic surroundings takes you back to living on an authentic coffee plantation. A tranquil, quiet place to relax. Restaurant offered a variety of meals. Staff was attentive and courteous. This was our fourth time at Hcda. Juanita.

The pool's tile stairs are EXTREAMLY slippery. The restaurant closes too early. The view is still worth the stay.

The advertised internet access was not available - no explanation given. And the advertised kitchen was unusable - two burners, two glasses, and a refrigerator - no pan to boil water, no coffee pot, no plates, silverware, cups, bowls, or anything. This location should not advertise a kitchen! Unfortunate that the rooms are poorly lit and have no windows - just a front and back door. They need a sign on the restaurant so hours are easier to track and plans can be made around their limited hours. It only opens at 8, so too late for early birding/outings. With no coffee pot, the only option is the $5 smallish coffee that they sell after 8 am. Perhaps if there was a coffee maker in the room, guests could purchase their ground coffee and enjoy it while there. Despite these issues, we would stay there again - the location is just that good for nature lovers.

The location and grounds were fantastic. The room was large (we booked the deluxe king room), and there was a great deck out the back overlooking the valley below that we had to ourselves since no other guests were there. There was a restaurant on site, but the hours are limited and communication is lacking about the hours. It is fairly close to a small town with other dining options. Everything was well maintained. On-site hiking trails were great - this could be a great birding destination similar to those in Belize and Costa Rica as it's so near to the Maricao area.

Coffee should start at 6:00 am or earlier. As a suggestion put a 24 hour coffee vending machine for the ones that wake up very early or drink coffee late.

The kitchen was short staffed. We felt bad was because they worked so hard, did a great job but needed more help. Also we had to pay more for air-conditioned room.

The food was very good and very reasonably priced. The coffee was excellent after all it is a working coffee plantation. .The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Most importantly, the view and farm itself are incredibly beautiful
