Extras fee’s for many things that should included

Free upgrade to a villa! It was so wonderful to stay here, felt like Hawaii, no lie!

The only restaurant we tried was waters for the buffet breakfast. It was not worth the money, far from San Juan if you want to do things in the city, but the resort has enough stuff that you don’t really have to leave. There was some construction across from our building, but it was not disruptive. I didn’t hear any noises. It just blocked some of the beautiful view, but it was still very nice.

The property is beautiful and right on the beach which is great. Most of the staff were very nice!

They had an issue running my credit card on file for incidentals (which turned out to be on their end and not mine because it went through the next morning completely fine) but because of this they locked us out of our room at 10pm. We went up from dinner and our keys had been deactivated. This was completely unnecessary. Also, their Asian restaurant on the property is TERRIBLE. For the prices they are charging, you would think it would be much higher quality food. The $24 bowl of ramen is literally packaged ramen! And everything was insanely salty.

It was t relaxing. The hotel had booked a crazy conference to take place the same time, with pound music, lots of terrible activities! They closed one of the pools, and it just wasn’t as advertised. The conference was the priority!!

The staff were great. The room was comfortable. The visual appeal everywhere was good (not great like Barcelo in Cancun).

You said above that I requested a quiet room. I did not. I know I didn't ask for this since we all sleep soundly regardless of noise. Don't ask me to comment on a question that isn't relevant. ::: The choice of restaurants and bars was sub-par. ::: The nickel and diming for extras was ridiculous - $7 for drip coffee and $36 for a child's breakfast (who eats like a bird), was unacceptable. ::: $25 extra per hour for a late checkout? You can do better. It feels like you don't want my future business. ::: So many chances to make a positive impression and you failed.

I love that this location felt very safe, had a private beach, had various restaurants, bars, and activities to participate in on property. The Water's Edge for the breakfast buffet had a grand variety of options with friendly staff. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable and housekeeping came everyday.

The splash and the food truck at the main pool close down early each day The bars also open late in the day. It would be nicer if more things were available for longer hours. There are also no microwaves in the rooms and the fridges are incredibly tiny, you can tell that the resort wants you to spend your money on their restaurants, the Market, and the Gift Shop.

The property was previously an all inclusive and it was paradise.

Check in was easy and fast. Facilities were always clean. Services at restaurants and pool were pretty great and staff was always quick to accommodate last minute seating if available. Short waits for golf carts. Everyone was always attentive to our needs and looked for signs of confusions to jump right in and assist or answer questions. The bell guys, front desk staff and bars always so pleasant! Great choice is staff! Did not meet one single person who didn’t smile or help!

Restrooms by the pool need a little more care and cleaning through the day due to those drinking more heavily and sometimes throwing up.
