Price, I check in at 6:30 PM, and the have to leave at 11:00 AM the next day. Pay a lot for less than 24 hours.

The site and the View, Room is comfortable, good Air Conditioning, Great people working there, very friendly.

The surroundings are quite outdated. There is a bar, but it was closed during our stay; if you're in the mood to relax at the hotel and have a drink, you're out of luck. It might be open during the high season from April to December, but I couldn't find out for sure. Additionally, there’s no reception after 10:00 PM. While there is access to the beach, it isn’t very inviting also the pool!

It was ok! The concept of cottages or bungalows is nice!

Came in after a wedding. Staff seemed a little burnt out. Grounds needed some upkeep and pool needed cleaning. The casita has a nice porch but only one chair. We asked for another chair but never got one .

I can only speak for the garden room that we stayed in. It has so much potential but sadly it is in dire need of a renovation. Having a door on the bathroom would be particularly appreciated!

The location in great! The grounds are absolutely beautiful! You can access the beach from the property, horses roam freely around the grounds, the restaurant is top notch, the staff is friendly & accommodating!

1. On the first day, as i settled in, one huge cockroache was on the wall. Front desk asked me to spray it! Due to bugs, cannot open windows. there is no screen in the windows and cannot leave them open, additionally it doesn't have any ventilation.

Great location and can access to the beautiful beach, close to bio bay, great food.

The wild horses throughout the resort were a delightful surprise, and I absolutely loved that aspect. However, the lack of adequate lighting made it less enjoyable to walk back to my room at night. The horses often hung out at the back of the property near my room, and it was nerve wracking for my gf. We tried our best to avoid startling them in the dark. The horses will warn you if you get too close ha.

The resort is stunning with amazing views overlooking the ocean. Although it was the slow season for them, the staff was still attentive, friendly, and overall welcoming. We dined at the restaurant, and the food was amazing and fresh! Breakfast is a must. I’m still thinking about that Caribbean French toast! So good…

The illumination when you are walking to the villa, I almost fell, they need to install spot lights that they turn on when you walk.

The place is beautiful, the villas are confortable . Dara , from the front desk was excellent, she is very polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good.

Unfortunately, the rooms are worn and the room service was not very thorough. They have an issue with the sewage and water system and the smell is horrible. It is a shame.

The property is beautiful and the pool is very nice. The restaurant has okay food and the rooms are large with nice porches. The outdoor seating area is very nice.

The air conditioner in our room, Josephina, clanked and rattled like a cheap Days Inn wall unit. We had to keep it off at night because it was too noisy. But then it would get really hot around 3-4am. Can't leave the door and windows open because of mosquitoes. On the positive side, you never heard roosters crow. The food in the hotel was very hit and miss. Like all the restaurants they were frequently out of many things, particularly fruit. Alas, the beach is not really swimmable and is not even walkable at high time tide. Way too many large and small rocks and seaweed. But you were only a five minute drive into Esperanza beach, restaurants and tours. I would have liked the bar to have had a list of fancy fruity drinks, just because that's what I like to drink when i'm on vacation! They didn't, but they will make whatever you want if you ask.

The property, restaurant and lobby are lovely with gorgeous views, quiet and restful. The staff is very pleasant and very nice. It's much nicer staying just 5 minutes out of Esperanza to be away from the exhaust of the cars and motorbikes and the noise in the bars, restaurants and traffic. The bed is very comfortable and rooms have blackout curtains. They call them Queen rooms, but they all have king beds. I believe ours was the smallest room and it was quite adequate size with a verandah with 2 comfortable arm chairs on it. I was distressed when she led me to the room as we went past all the other cabins that were closer to the water. But sitting on the veranda, you could get a view of the water through the trees. And it was quite pleasant, plus you can always just go up to the lobby which is lovely. There's a separate bar which is quite nice. It's great having a restaurant and bar onsite. Watching the super bowl there was fun as it's a round bar and they have four tv's facing out from the center. While I had imagined a room closer to the water and a swimmable beach, and paying $350/night I was a little disappointed at first, but after staying for 3 nights I would definitely go back there. Particularly having stayed at another very expensive spot and seen many of the others. This may be the nicest hotel on the island.

Not all of the outlets worked and some only if the lights were also on, which was confusing and inconvenient because it meant we could only charge during the daytime. I also would strongly recommend they consider providing a counter in the bathroom because we barely had anywhere to put down any of our bathroom needs.

Loved the location, staff was great, and the meal was delicious but pricey.

The bed size exceeded the base size, therefore the sleeping quality was not good even though the mattress was OK. The mattress overflowed the base, there was like 20 cm overflow. This is the only hotel in my many travels which did not provide water in the rooms. We asked for water, we were recommended to drink from the water dispenser in the lobby. That's OK too, however when you wake up at night and if you are thirsty, it makes no sense and it is not convenient to walk all the way back to lobby from your room to use the dispenser. We were granted early check in however routine hours suggested for check in (4 pm) and check out at 11 am does not seem reasonable at all. This is not solely about this hotel I believe, as years pass the hotels started increasing this gap unreasonably. They were quite helpful in this aspect though.

The location was nice, the cleaning was nice. Besides these minor defects I mentioned in the disliked area, which can also be fixed easily, the stay was overall good.
