Thin stairs were an issue with heavy cases to top floor but hotel staff helped. The water went off so the staff let us shower outside by the hotel pool! They also provided us with water until it came back on mid next morning.

Location was excellent and sea views amazing. A big and clean apartment. Hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful.

We knew the key pickup was a few blocks away however sadly the key didn’t work to get in. It was resolved after a return walk back to the key drop off. We didn’t like that both mornings the external security gate had been chained open. Ceiling fans did not work however a temporary (noisy) stand up fan was provided and if you locate this in the room with the air-conditioner you can get the living room down to comfortable temperate. The place was comfortable, clean except the shower tiles maybe, but for us there was just something missing. Maybe the absence of the little things, eg soap or tea/salt/pepper or a hand towel. Maybe it was that they were renting it for four, expecting four, but the table only had three chairs. There was just something.

Location is great to explore the offerings of the old city. There was coffee and sugar provided. It’s an older facility as you’d expect in the old city

No air conditioner in living room, bathroom or kitchen. Ceiling fan in living room was broken. Window in living room couldn't be opened. There was construction noise every day during the day, right outside the apartment.

Great location. The bedroom air conditioner worked well. Staff were friendly and brought requested items, like soap, towels and a floor fan.. The apartment access is up a flight of stairs ( no elevator ) and provides a view from the balcony down Calle O'Donnell of the bay. WiFi was good most of my stay.

The property site was having reconstruction done, so it was very cluttered with materials on the stairway. We were woken up to noise of hammering and pounding at six in the morning. The windows were shut by a plank so we could not see outside the bathroom had a huge step to get inside And the water was not hot.

We did not get the expected accommodations. The building was in renovations. We had reserved and expected an ocean view with separate beds and kitchenette for a friend and myself. We were in a suite with a queen size bed and a sofa bed with no linen for the sofa bed and the bathroom connected to the bedroom - not very appropriated for a friend type of trip.. The second night, we were accommodated with a 2 bed room and again without window views but certainly a more private bathroom arrangement. After some discussion with the manager. We accepted a 20% refund as well as complementary breakfast for both mornings for the change in accommodations.

The location was decently located. The accommodations were clean. The terrace continental breakfast was quite good.

The original room and type we reserved was not available when we checked in, and the first desk clerk was not very helpful -- in fact she handled it terribly. The manager the next morning was very good in telling us what happened and acknowledged their mistake then did what she could to help us out.

The room was very big and nicely set up for us. Overall it was very comfortable and a great location.

Although the bedroom and bathroom areas were nice, the kitchen was seriously under supplied, with just a few miss-matched dishes and cutlery. There was not even a toaster. Then, there was no balcony at all (destroyed many years ago) and we couldn't even open the doors for the breeze. The living room was not really usable because there was just a Murphy bed, not a couch and the only air conditioning unit was in the bedroom. I'd give it about a 6 out of ten.

I didn't like that I had to go to a different hotel (La Terraza) about four blocks down on the same street to check in/check out.

The location was near to everything, El Morro, El Castillo de Cristobal, Cruise ships/Puerto Rico's Ferry, El Paseo de la Princesa, El Museo de Arte, The Franciscan Church, Restaurants galore and Souvenir shops just to name a few places.

Kitchen utensils were mostly unusable, walls had reside of red/maybe blood? Not sure but wasn’t super clean when we arrived. I didn’t receive instructions on any changes. We were told one location then sent to anther with loads of luggage

Air Conditioning was in the bedroom only so could be very hot in the rest of the apt. The kitchen had one burner of 4 that worked, I didn't even attempt to see if the oven worked but I doubt it. The door to the balcony had the frame rotted off. Other guests were quite noisy coming and going very late at night.

GREAT location and really spacious apartment for a week stay in old San Juan. Super close to a dog park on top the walls of the old fort and a dog friendly. So nice to have a kitchen for the week, as well as a super comfortable bed and couch to hang out on.

The condition of the apartment is exactly what you pay for (very cheap compared to other properties in this location). It is cleanish but very old building, so don't have high expectations. We saw 3 roaches (2 small and one giant) likely coming in from outside. The street is extremely noisy all night long so if you need a quiet place this isn't for you.

The location is wonderful. Close by to everything, we stayed in an apartment on the 1st floor called Cozy and had a beautiful sea view. Please be aware that the street is very loud at night, tons of cars passing by and music. Also, it felt safe in or near the apt. The staff was amazing, super friendly, helpful with travel tips. They were very welcoming and let us leave the bags before check-in and after checkout so it was great. Clean towels were provided and some toiletries.
