How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

While the rooms were really nice, I’d say need they need a little love: the bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the sink. Breakfast was literally just toast and juice.

Verified reviewThe arquitecture of the compound is thrilling. It takes the word "wonderful" to another level!! The areas are just as interesting as a maze, they have a surprise detail in every corner. The entrance is my favorite...just amazing ....a group of palms receive you!! Then the reading areas, the paintings in almost every wall!!! The room itself is almost a paintings gallery!! The accomodations are superb,...the details,....!! I really enjoy it!!! Do I told you about the stairs railings???!! Incredible and artesanal work of inspiration!!! Thanks!!!

The staff wasn't very friendly and helpful. We had a very quick run through of the property and were told to leave the keys in the lock box to check out. We were getting ready to board out flight out of Vieques when I received a phone call asking why had not check out. In addition, we asked for a quiet room and was put right next door to a couple who had a dog that barked at every sound we made. Down the hall was a baby that cried very loudly. We were on our anniversary/birthday. Our fault for not choosing a location that didn't allow children and pets.

Upon arrival the kitchen was not properly clean, but we were too tired to address it. The wifi is non-existent and my husband and i were working from there, which was impossible. No chair or table in the room and no wifi connection, so we tried to work from the common area. We were the only ones there and I asked nicely if we could switch off or reduce the volume of the music playing there. The woman said no and even after talking to the mgr on the phone who said they can reduce the volume she didn’t do it and answered me in a very disrespectful manner. We also wanted to rent a car and they said there is nothing available although we saw the cars lined up there all day. We had to walk to Vieques Car Rental where they told us that Old Crow for sure had a car but somebody just didn’t want to work. That’s exactly the case. I would not recommend this property to anyone. We didn’t feel welcome and this treatment ruined our stay. The luminous bay is beautiful, but don’t stay at Old Crow. There are better places with nicer humans.

Verified reviewThe property was centrally located so you need a rental to get anywhere. They do text you to ask when you will be arriving. When I told them around 11am I asked if that is too early they said 11AM works when I arrived they said they can get us in until the check in time. I believe this is due to the person I was messaging and a language barrier or they forgot to inform the other workers. The rooms look nice but feel dirty. Some dead bugs on the floor and very odd shower door set up getting water everywhere. I’m sure there are nicer places to stay on the island but for the price I guess you get what you pay for

Verified reviewLocation is a convenient short drive from the ferry arrival. We arrived early and were happily surprised to have access to our rooms at 11am after some negotiating with staff. It quickly went downhill from there.
The hotel however was disappointing. The breakfast was simply terrible - stale bred, warm orange/apple juice and flies everywhere. Coffee was OK to be fair. The room itself is spacious with a large balcony but room 205 had no hot water and no wifi. The pool was just fine but there was wood work / renovations being done on the second floor making it noisy and not relaxing. One piece of cut wood fell dangerously close to my 3 year old so we decided to leave the pool early. We checked out a day early and plan to never go back again.

Verified reviewFrom the moment I checked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff was not only attentive and helpful, but also incredibly friendly, always ready with a smile and happy to assist with anything I needed. Their warmth and hospitality really made the stay feel special. The property is absolutely beautiful. It blends so well with the natural surroundings, and the pool area felt like a peaceful little oasis. We were so caught up in enjoying the moment that we didn’t even stop to take photos of the pool or our room, which says a lot! Sometimes the best memories come when you’re fully present. Our room was clean, spacious, and super comfortable. I especially appreciated the kitchen, it was such a nice bonus and made everything feel that much more relaxed and homey. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. If I ever return to Vieques, I wouldn’t think twice, I’d definitely stay here again!

Verified reviewGreat location in center of island. Easy to get to beaches on south side and city on north. Unique property with nice private suites and balconies. Comfortable bed plus kitchenette that would be useful for longer stays. Nice seating areas and balcony looking over the water. Pool deck and 2nd level bar under cover very nice.
Bathroom basic and Water Closet not private. No TV which is not a big deal, just didn't see that in the booking page.
