    Size of the room

Bathroom could use an update. There were some ants and the A/C was noisy.

The location was good. The room had TV and the hot water was amazing.

The room is very small. The bed was small, my husband and I barely fit. The bed was hard and a bit uncomfortable. We stayed there just to shower, take a nap and leave to catch our flight. So it was no big deal. We however, felt we were in Cuba. The A/C sounded like it was about to fall out the wall as it was very loud. We were in the room for about 3 hours and the temperature in the room went from 81 to 78 degrees F. Property didn't have an elevator, no fridge and towels were stained with makeup. Not sure if we got that room in specific since we advised that we were only going to be there for a couple of hours instead of the whole night we had paid for.

Room was spacious with the double beds and the beds and pillows were very soft and comfortable.

I didn't like the fact that they had us write down our credit card information on the card, especially with so much credit card fraud. That did not feel safe. I did not feel safe in the area, and electricity went and did not return for the remainder of our stay, so the room was terribly hot. Very flimsy locks on the door that also added to my not feeling safe.

This classic-style hotel is in a great location—perfect for exploring the area. The property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The hosts are outstanding: warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Cristobal is a true gentleman who enjoys a good conversation and makes you feel right at home. The hotel also features a very cool, classy bar and a Spanish restaurant right next door. It’s within walking distance to the beach, and there's a supermarket nearby that stays open until late in the evening.

Short walk to beach and lots of shop and restaurants. Older building with lots of charm.

No elevator, room was cool but it took a while to get it cool enough to sleep. Not a lot of parking but that’s normal for the area.

Friendly staff, close by to many places. Big room. Restaurant at the bottom floor was great. Shower had hot water.

Uncomfortable beds, beds were dirty and one even had a dead bug on it. The room wasn't as clean as it was thought out to be. The "free parking" is street parking. The toilet was dirty, and it's a weird European toilet with a shelf inside the bowl. Curtains had a weird smell.

The hotel benefits from a convenient central location and the practicality of independent entry with a key, which adds a sense of privacy.

However, the overall experience was disappointing. The property feels neglected, with no renovations in years and an apparent focus on outdated decoration rather than essential sanitary upkeep. The toilets in both rooms we tried failed to function properly, which was unacceptable. Despite the staff being pleasant, they were unable to offer much assistance. Additionally, the lack of basic amenities such as complimentary coffee or water in the room further added to the feeling that the high price was unjustified.
